"It was a very bad joke doctor"
"Tell me you are joking"
"Did you think what I want Annika?"
These lines of Shivaay kept ringing in Annika's ears.
Unable to bear the terrible pain she had been feeling Annika had called her papa to speak to him. She hadn't informed him about anything that was going on between Shivaay and her. Instead had asked him whether a single person deciding on behalf of a whole lot of people was right or wrong. Her papa had advised her that the best decision would always be the one taken after proper communication and dire consent between the whole lot and that it was very unreasonable for a person to decide on behalf of many. This had made Annika feel extremely guilty.
"Finally! thank you Harshvardhan. It's me your destiny"
She felt guilty of not giving a thought to what Shivaay wanted. She had decided on behalf of them both. She understood that she had taken the decision impulsively. The way Shivaay had shed tears made Annika rethink her decision. Why would a man cry for nothing after all. She finally understood that Her decision had been extremely foolish and the way she had imposed it on Shivaay had been completely unreasonable. Before coming to a conclusion she decided to talk it out with Shivaay.
Remembering Shivaay's state last night had left her completely desolate, she had acted extremely cruel to him, she had behaved like an immature child. May be Shivaay had forgotten Tia, May be he had moved on from her now. May be he too wanted to give their marriage a chance although he wasn't in love with her. She had only listened to tia's side of the story after 7 years, what about Shivaay's, she needed to listen to him as well. She wanted to apologize for last night's incident, the way she had acted impulsively and see how Shivaay was now. Simply she had gained her senses back and wanted to talk it out with Shivaay.
"Poor girl, finally someone has knocked sense into her head. I'm ever grateful Harshvardhan"
She was dressed in a sky blue kurti which was Shivaay's favourite colour and had let her hair loose like Shivaay preferred. She had planned how she'd talk to Shivaay, first she'd apologize to him for yesterday, then tell him about the diaries she had read and then ask him about his current opinion of Tia, if he wanted to have Tia back in his life she'd happily give in although it'd be terrible for her to bear, but if he wanted to give their marriage a chance, she'd be the happiest. The mere thought itself made Annika reach the seventh sky, living with Shivaay forever would mean nothing more than heaven to Annika. But she didn't absolutely know how she was gonna face him.
So here she was at the door of their house, thinking whether to ring the calling bell or use the spare keys she had.
"I'd use the spare keys" Annika decided.
She slowly unlocked the door with her lips curved upwards and entered their house. The living room was empty. Shivaay had to be definitely here coz today was a Sunday. Taking slow steps she walked towards Shivaay's room hesitantly. Making sure she wasn't making any sound, she opened the door.
What she saw made tears flow down her eyes. There were Tia and Shivaay in an awkward position. With tear on his lap and him holding her by her waist. Long gone was Annika's plans of patching up with Shivaay. Her heart trembled witnessing the scene. She had indeed been right that Shivaay and Tia were still in love, her going away hadn't mattered to Shivaay at all.
Annika wiped away her tears and was about to walk away, when Shivaay saw her.
"Annika" he exclaimed with tear filled eyes. Annika started walking out without paying any heed to him, while Shivaay ran after her.
