I remember our fated catastrophe,
silent violence and often chaotic history;
I remember tears staining everything of mine,
falling towards ground till weeping blind...
how I'd only wished trueness spoke through eyes,
crumbled insecurities within mind,
till they conversed with every other line,
impossible to distinguish what thought was honestly mine;
I remember mencing phrases lacerating a heart strained,
chewing upon veins,
yet -
if any were to accept ultimate blame,
a familiar name fills in the blank.
