I've waged a lifetime war,
yet, I've no thought as now for,
stretching limited space in core,
giving mine all to a terminal storm -
pushing heart past beaconed torch,
hopes in running viciously forward,
preserve another nerve from harboring even one more,
delay catering another scar worn -
though...
suggest a calm of mind
&
erratic subside,
cast at what fate has given to collide;steady hand lay near side,
passion stenciled in a warrior's eyes -
mine fight needn't be a lonely ride,
teaching still...
there's no longer compulsion sought to hide,
two can take upon path together in stride,
two souls combine...as where passion thrive -
our one shared life.
