Chapter 10

Haylee's POV

''haylee'' he said

''nick'' i said

''you know each other?'' dad said

''know each other? he was my ex boyfriends bestfriend'' i said

''the one you killed?'' mom said and i looked at her.

''sorry adrian told us'' she said

''haylee had i had known it was you i would've done something'' nick said

''but you didn't'' i said

''what is she talking about nick?'' dad said

''go ahead nick tell them'' i said and tears formed in my eyes.

''tell them how you walked in on james raping me and you did nothing'' i said and mom and dad looked at him and his face fell.

''haylee i-'' i cut him off

''save it im sorry i thought it was going to be a great idea to stay here but obviously it wasn't'' i said and i walked out and i caught tori right before she left.

''haylee what are you doing!'' tori said

''i can't stay here'' i said

''why?'' she said and i told her about nick. She knew a guy walked in but i never told her the name.

''oh my god'' she said and hugged me

''im so sorry i should've told you about him but adrian linked me that night you came to my house and told me not to say anything'' she said

''adrian knew'' i said

''that you had a brother? yeah'' she said and anger grew in my body.

''oh shit'' she said and i turned right back around and went looking for adrian and when i did it was not so pretty...

''so you just told everyone i know to keep a secret!'' i yelled and adrian turned around and saw tori and she looked down.

''she met nick.'' she said

''shit'' he said

''the day you brought me to meet my mom i was telling you stuff about james and my life well here's the thing i didn't tell you adrian'' i said

''james raped me multiple times to the point where i hated myself and no longer wanted to be alive and nick was his bestfriend nick knew everything he knew about the beatings and then he found out about him raping me'' i said

''he walked in and guess what nick did'' i said

''nothing! not a damn thing!'' i yelled

''im sorry haylee i-i didn't know'' he said

''but you knew i had a brother and didn't tell me'' i said

''but you had everyone else know and not tell me even my bestfriend'' i said

''i don't ever want to talk to you again'' i said

''i want nothing to do with you so if you ever come near me again you will regret it'' i said and i walked away

''im going with my parent's im just gonna stay but im going to school tomorrow'' i said and she nodded

''ill pick you up'' tori nodded and i nodded

''ill get ready in the car then'' i said and she chuckled

''ill come early i don't mind missing homeroom'' she said and i smiled and gave her a hug.

''see you tomorrow'' i said and she smiled and i went back to the cabin and walked in and saw mom and dad with nick in the living room.

''can i talk to nick alone'' i said and looked at mom and dad and they nodded

''don't kill me'' he said and i sighed

''it was almost two years ago'' i said

''look if i could take it back i would but i did do something after i swear'' he said

''i told him to never hurt you like that again or i wouldn't be his friend and he said alright he wouldn't and i made him swear on everything after that i didn't see him do it ever again'' he said

''that was the month he treated me like a human and not just a piece of trash'' i said

''when i found out he was doing it again i never talked to him ever again'' he said

''thats why i haven't seen you'' i said and he nodded

''im so sorry'' he said and i hugged him

''that month gave me hope when he didn't do anything to me the day he stopped i was gonna kill myself'' i said and he looked at me.

''i couldn't live any longer i was so angry at everyone and everything i was so over the feeling of being raped of being beat. But when he stopped it made me have hope that it would all be over soon that month made me pull through'' i said

''you saved me from killing myself nick and had i had known it was you that stood up to him i would've forgiven you a long time ago'' i said and smiled

''thanks hay'' he said and hugged me and i smiled

''lets go get your wounds clean i have a special cream for it that i use and i will let you in on it'' he said and i smiled and we went to the restroom and he pulled out a little bottle.

''now it might not seem like much but trust me this shit right here heal's your wounds in a day even the most severe ones'' he said

''well what are you waiting for slap that bad boy on these wounds cause they sting like a bitch'' i said and he laughed i sat on the counter top and cleaned up my wounds.

''thanks nick'' i said

''no problem hayes'' he said and smiled and i smiled

''alright now leave the patch on and you will be as good as new tomorrow'' he said and smiled

''alrighty'' i said

''this will be your room'' he said and pointed to the room across the hall.

''it was kind of always yours mom made it to grieve'' he said and i gave him a small smile.

''thanks nick'' i said

Even though i barley remember having an older brother he isn't that old he's one year older than me he's 18 and an early graduate. Show off. Anyways i may be 16 right now but my birthday is two days away and i couldn't be more excited and more scared to find out who my mate is..........

Alright so a little note. These past chapters that came out (5-10) have been written for a while but i have been changing it up so they were perfect to me and not just okay. I realize i slack alot! But its summer and now i have an extreme amount of time and ive actually been working on these five chapters for about two almost three weeks yes i know i obsess over this but hey they somewhat make sense and i think they are the shit. If you ever need help understanding just say so and i will explainnn!
