Chapter 29

Haylee's pov 

I layed in my bed and just didn't want to talk to anyone or be around anyone i just wanted to be left alone. 

''hay'' i heard and i recognized it as logan's voice.

''what's up'' i said 

''i heard.'' he said 

''great'' i said and he sat next to me.

''look i don't know how you feel or what you are going through mostly because im not a girl but im always here i know we just met but you are still my sister. You saved mine and my moms life even when you didn't even know us'' he said and i looked at him.

''so what you're giving me is pity because i saved you and your mom well i don't need it logan'' i said 

''no hay thats not what i meant'' he said 

''it's sure how it sounds so can you please just get out.'' i said 

''pushing people you love away isn't the best solution hay just remember that'' he said and he walked out and i hugged my pillow and just cried. 

Logan's pov 

I want to just tell everyone already i want to burst out and just fucking kiss her but i can't because right now is not the best time. I just want my mate to know she is my mate already.

Haylee's pov 

''haylee'' adrian said walking in.

''what'' i said and he layed next to me and pulled me into his chest.

''babe we will get through this together okay'' he said 

''how would you feel if you couldn't give your mate the one thing that they want the most'' i said and he kissed my forehead.

''baby like i said we will get through it together i love you alright you are my mate you are my everything and more you come first'' he said and i cried for like the millionth time today. 

''shh'' he said and rubbed my back and ran his fingers through my hair with his other hand. 

''go to sleep beautiful'' he said and he didn't have to tell me twice.

~2 HOURS LATER~

I woke up from my nap and adrian was asleep next to me and i realized everything that was happening wasn't a dream. It was reality. 

I just wanted to fall back to sleep and just not wake up. 

I got up and i walked downstairs and went outside and it was dark so i checked the time. 

''great two in the morning'' i said 

I grabbed some water and went outside and sat on the porch. I looked around and i felt weird. I got up and put the water down and i walked around the house. I heard a ruffle in the leaves and my wolf was on high alert. 

I growled and my eyes started to glow someone touched my shoulder and i flipped them. 

''ow'' he said and i gasped.

''oh my god im sorry'' i said 

''its okay'' he said  

''what the hell are you doing here at two in the morning'' i said 

''um well i need to talk to you and i can't hold it in anymore and i know it's bad timing with all the stuff going on with you but i need to tell someone'' he said and i looked at him weird.

''tori is my mate'' he said and i widened my eyes.

''oh my god logan'' i said and we walked inside and sat on the couch. 

''when did you find out'' i said 

''when i saw her i knew but she didn't and i didn't know why'' he said 

''she's still sixteen she dont turn seventeen till next week'' i said 

''i hate waiting hay i want to run up and fucking kiss her and call her mine and that tanner kid keeps fucking with her in these ways and making her laugh and fucking touching her and she's mine'' he said and i chuckled

''at least she's not having sex with other people and i mean we both did it but i don't know i didn't know he was my mate but he knew i was his and just a whole situation.'' i said and i sighed

''but she is an amazing girl who deserves an amazing mate just tell her'' i said and he looked at me

''what if she doesn't like me'' he said 

''don't think like that she will love you'' i said and he nodded

''you wanna go for a run?'' i said and smiled 

''i could use something to take my mind off of alot'' i said and he smiled and nodded we grabbed the clothes that the witch gave us and changed and we ran to the woods and we shifted and went for a run. 

It was amazing all my worries were washed away with the amazing feeling of the wind going through my fur. 

We got to the cliff and shifted back into our skin and looked at the sun come up.

''its funny how everything happens for a reason'' he said 

''what do you mean?'' i said and looked at him.

''if you never came to look for me and my mom we wouldn't be here and i would have never met my mate'' he said 

''i was so surprised when i found out who you were i was shocked and confused and when i knew i was kind of excited and scared'' i said 

''why'' he said 

''because i thought you weren't gonna like me and then i was excited because hey i got to have another brother so fuck i was excited'' i said and he laughed

''when you told me i was so shocked and not really mad at dad because my mom never talked down on him she always said he was a great guy he was funny and that one day i would maybe meet him and when i did i didn't like him but when i saw his head in that box i regretted the way we met if it had gone smoother it would have been way better'' he said and i nodded

''my whole life i thought my parents were these amazing people that would never hurt a soul or even me but once they left i was beaten and raped by the guy i thought i loved'' i said 

''oh my god haylee im so sorry you don't have to tell me'' he said

''no its okay im fine i can talk about it'' i said and he nodded

''he would beat and rape me everyday for almost two or three years and one day i went to the store to get medicine for my bruises'' i said 

''then he popped up and asked if i needed help and that i looked confused and then we had a conversation and then it made me forget i had those bruises until he asked if i got into a fight and then after that i stayed home for two weeks because james saw me talking to him and he beat me that day and after that it was a emotional roller coaster into finding out who i am'' i said 

''and when i did i killed james'' i said and he laughed

''well damn'' he said and i smiled 

''he was all my demons well not all of them but he was the main demon i could never get rid of till the day i killed him and look at me now he's still found a way to fuck up my life'' i said and he hugged me.

''you don't know that the doctors said it could heal'' he said 

''even if it does logan my eggs are barley there'' i said and he sighed.

''there is always a chance hay don't forget that'' he said and i nodded

''i hope you are right'' i said and we looked at the sun peak through the mountains and we relaxed....
