Kara's P.O.V.

Lena is stressed.

She's always super organized and keeps track of what she needs to do around her apartment. She makes a list for everything and tries to use them. But, since she a super busy CEO, Lena never has time to complete her chores list. Task after task is listed and, at most, two of them are checked off as finished. I know this really upsets her and makes her frustrated.

I have the day off from CatCo today and, obviously, Lena still has to go into L-Corp. So, trying to make my girlfriend happy, I go over to her apartment and start doing everything on the list. Mop the floors, clean the windows, go grocery shopping- this has a separate list attached of all the food that she needs to buy- and on and on and on.

Eventually, I finish everything that needs to be done (I may or may not have gotten some help from my powers) and also cook Lena a decent dinner. The table is set and the food is laid out right as she gets home. After almost dropping her purse in surprise, she glances around the apartment.

"Did you clean my apartment for me?" Lena asks, her eyes widening as she looks around.

"Um... yeah. I know you've been so busy and your list of things to do was getting so long and I thought it might help if I did some of it for you. I hope you don't mind..." I trail off from my rambling explanation as Lena walks towards me.

"You're absolutely amazing. Thank you so, so much. I love you." She leans in and kisses me gently before surveying the table. "This look amazing as well!"

"I hope you're hungry, I made enough food to feed an army," I say as we sit down across from each other.

"I'm sure that won't be a problem considering the way you're eyeing the food," Lena teases me gently and I laugh. We both dig in, talking and laughing throughout the dinner and well into the later part of the evening. Seeing Lena so happy was honestly worth doing more chores in one day than I've done this entire year. I might have to do this more often.
