Danvers Sisters | Lena

This was requested by @Janafo28. I figured this was a good opportunity to try out 3rd person P.O.V. I hope none of you mind!

Alex and Kara have a problem. A huge one. Because ever since they were younger, the girls swore to never compete over a date. If they both liked someone, they'd settle it maturely. Besides, Alex had always been sure there would be no way for her to fall for somebody Kara had a crush on. And that theory was correct. Until Lena.

They all started off as friends but as time wore on, Alex started to see Lena as more than a friend. She'd been working up the courage for months to ask Lena out when Kara had confided in her that she had a crush on Lena. And then things escalated quickly. And, because Alex was terrified to tell Kara the truth, she tried to push her feelings to the side and support Kara.

Then Kara came to Alex with a favor and those puppy dog eyes.

"You want me to stalk her," Alex deadpans, her voice a void of any emotion. Kara twiddles with her thumbs nervously and nods bashfully.

"Please Alex! It'll just be for a little while! And only so I can find out how to get her to like me," Kara begs looking just about ready to get onto her knees. Alex, for some reason, agrees.

It started out as a little bit of spying here and there. Asking the right questions to get Lena to divulge more information. Alex would then report the information back to Kara. At least, most of it. She kept some to herself, hidden away at the back of her mind for later. Then it turns into flat out interrogating Lena while she's way past tipsy. Drunk Lena has a terrible memory.

All the while, Kara is acting strangely around Lena. Alex doesn't know how she didn't realize it before, the constant heart eyes and goofy smiles basically give the secret away. Lena remains oblivious though. Even as "Supergirl" comes to her on the balcony for visits that are under the guise of importance but get basically nothing done. Supergirl even once waited to save a cat from a tree until Lena was looking.

Eventually, though, Alex gets tired of all the lying. It's exhausting having to lie to your sister and question (and maybe stalk) your best friend/crush like a maniac. She decides it's finally time to come clean. It's time for Lena to decide.
