Sabrina in media
I didn't plan on dropping her off right away. Not with my clothes on. That shit would look suspicious as fuck.
So while she had got ready and showered, I'd quickly done the same in the other restroom while my dad slept and got Bella ready too. Then I grabbed all of me and here dirty clothes and packed it in the trunk. I needed to wash.
"You're going the wrong way." She said to me. Her arms crossed over her chest like she was too tired of me already. I scoffed.
"As much as you say you wanna go home, I feel like you lying. So I'm 'bout to go wash some clothes. It ain't gone take long. You cold?" I asked her as she slumped in her seat. Then snatched my jacket from between us after I took it off at the light and chuckled, shaking my head.
"Why can't you just wash at home? You have a washing machine don't you?" She asked me, I glanced over at her and shook my head.
"Our-"
"Jeff and Jon always messing up stuff. They're stupid." Bella piped up. Sabrina looked back at her and peeped a smile. I cleared my throat and hit the gas just so she could stop eyeing her.
"Stupid is a mean word Bella," I scorned as I watched her through my review mirror while she says in her booster seat. She crinkled up her nose and stuck out her tongue at me.
Sabrina snickered quietly beside me. "And everytime I buy things for the house, it goes ghost in less than a day like they throw the washing stuff down the toilet. So no. I'm not washing at home and now that I got a lock on my door. I'm keeping my shi- things and Bella's to myself." I explained to her. She scoffed.
"What about food?" She asked curiously.
"I-"
"We don't have any!" Bella piped up again. I glanced back at her and she looked scared that I might pop her. I did no such thing. I looked over at Sabrina and she looked like she felt bad for us.
"She doesn't mean that. Bella, don't tell people that. We don't know her and what you said could really get daddy in trouble." I explained to her as I pulled into McDonald's. My stomach growled from the thought of chowing down and I could hear Sabrina's groan in protest too as we waited behind two cars in line.
"I'm sorry Yel." Bella said in a small voice that made me feel bad for getting on her. I reached back and held a hand out to her. She took it and shook it. I squeezed her hand gently in mine.
"It's okay baby girl, but to answer your question Sabrina," I said turning to her after I let go of Bel. She looked back in anticipation. "They do the same with the food as they do the detergent." I said to her. She shook her head.
"Might as well buy your own fridge and out it in your room." She said to me. I nodded in agreement and moved up a spot.
"I plan on it, but I don- hold on." I told her as my phone ringed. I picked it up and andwrwd. "Yayo."
"Where the hell are you with Bella? And why is your door suddenly locked?" My dad growled into the phone at me. I sighed.
"We're out getting McDonald's and I gotta take Sabrina home. Her car stopped working in our drive way." I explained. He grumbled something under his breath and moved around. I heard our front door open. He must have been outside now.
"Well, alright." He said to me in a nicer tone. Like he liked the idea of her bad luck.
"Yeah... I'm get wit' you after I drop her off at home. But I gotta eat first." I chuckled to him. He made a sounds like a laugh back.
