Babe
Hour Before Sabrina showed up...
Me and Cole were discussing with my mom what all went down today and the consequences we had to deal with. We had to do free community service over at the women's shelter after school, but I don't think Sabrina caught on to that because she was too busy in her own thoughts to hear him. I bet it had to do something with a certain someone that popped up after we left the office.
It didn't take a rocket scientist to know she liked Yel and that Yel was feeling her as well, but they wouldn't tell each other that. Two proud motherfuckers in a relationship, I had to see that.
"Well, you know better now right?" My mother asked us. We nodded and I sighed leaning in to lay against her while she laid in bed.
"I was thinking about maybe moving in with Cole. He's responsible. We're both responsible." I said to her she looked at me and shook her head. Then sat up to hug me to her. I hugged her back.
"Please don't be irresponsible and have a baby. You're not ready for that Babe." She said to me. I pulled away and looked at her funny. I hadn't even thought about having any kids. I mean, yeah me and Cole talked about it, but it was just a random conversation like any conversation we had. He said he wasn't ready for kids and I totally agreed. I wanted to go to college and have a degree under my belt with a good paying job before I decided to have a any.
"Mom, we talked about that already. I'm not ready and Cole isn't either. We're not going to do anything like that unless we use protection." I said to her which only made her hold on to me tighter. I was only being honest. Sex wasn't a scary thing for me, I just never had it because I wasn't ready. Cole had sex before me, but he said he'd be patient with me and wait. I trust him enough to believe he has.
"Ohhh, my baby is growing up and I can't avoid the inevitable. I'll.... Let you take a couple of things there and you can stay over there for two weeks. No sex with protection. None of that. Just lay in bed and watch cartoons or something." She said to me. I squealed in excitement and hugged her again then stood up to hug Cole. It was a start and at least she didn't say no.
"Thanks mama." I said to her. She nodded and got back under her covers. I tugged on and left with Cole to my room. I packed a couple of weeks worth of clothes and threw it in my trunck before going back in the house. Cole grabbed me up and hugged me close.
"I'm happy for us. You get to spend some days at my place and I get to–"
"She said no. So I say no." I said to him sternly. He kissed my nose.
"Okay. But please don't make me wait that long."
"I feel like you're rushing me. I don't like that." I told him. He frowned up and blushed.
"I'm not. I just.. I've experienced it and I want you to too. I want to make you feel good and I wanna feel good while making you–"
"Okay sir." My mom said out of nowhere. I pulled away from him and he let go of me hesitantly. Shook.
"Sorry Ms.Turner." He apologized, but I knew he wasn't sorry. My mom knew better.
"Mhm. Get out of my house before I change my mind." She said to me and him. He looked around for his keys out of habit and sighed as he looked back up at me.
"I can't find my Yel." He said to me. I looked at him sideways and frowned.
"Excuse me?" I said to him. Hands on my hips. My mom stopped midway from living the kitchen to look at him as well.
