Amy woke to frantic knocking on the bedroom door, and Chica barking. Sliding out of the bed, she patted the dog's head. "Shh, it's alright Chica." She promised before opening the door. "Hm?"
"Sorry." Signe gasped. "They're gone!"
"Gone?" Amy tilted her head, rubbing her eye sleepily.
"Sean! And Mark! They're... they're just gone!" Signe held her hands out. "I woke up, and they just weren't on the dresser anymore!"
Amy stared at her a moment while the information sunk in. "Gone?" She frowned, stepping out of the bedroom and patted Chica's head one more time before closing the door. "It's alright, it... it's alright." She nodded, sleepily making her way to the spare bedroom. She stared at the empty dresser top, then ducked down to look underneath it. "I mean, they're smart guys, and they're not alone... they have each other. I'm sure they... just... went somewhere."
"How would they get off the dresser?" Signe gasped.
Amy bit her lip, watching her. "I don't know. Uh... maybe Robin would help us look for them?"
Signe nodded, trying to take a deep breath. "Yes, I'm sure he would." She lead the way downstairs, and was just about to wake Robin when Amy grabbed her shoulder.
With a relieved sigh, Amy pointed across the room. "There they are!" The Switch was still leaned against the wall. Sean was laid out on his back, the controller still across him, while Mark was laying on his side, spooning his controller. "They're alright." Amy smiled, squeezing Signe's shoulder gently.
Signe took a deep breath, nodding and made her way over, quickly scooping Sean out from under the controller, while Amy knelt down, gently tapping Mark's back. Sean jolted upright, and Signe cupped him in her hands, holding him close. "Woosh?" Sean half yawned, sleepily rubbing at his eyes.
"You terrified me!" Signe held him close, being very careful not to squeeze him.
"Terrified you?" Sean got to his feet, stretching a little before he pushed a few of her fingers out of the way to look up at her. "What did I do?"
"You weren't there when I woke up! I thought... thought you..." Signe took a deep breath, holding it as she tried to find words.
Sean frowned, shaking his head. "Oh, Woosher..." He patted her finger gently, irritated that he couldn't give her a proper hug. "I'm so sorry! I didn't think about it." Signe simply nodded and Sean tilted his head, his frown deepening. "I'm alright. I'm..." He smiled, flexing his arms. "I'm strong boy!" Signe chuckled a little, even though she was trying not to and Sean's smile grew. "It won't happen again. I forgot that this is hard on you too..."
Amy tapped Mark's back again and he groaned, squirming away from her as he hugged the controller. "Mark!" Amy laughed.
Mark's eyes opened, then narrowed as he frowned at the remote in his arms. "Amy?"
With a single finger, Amy rolled him over so he was facing her. "Up here. Remember?"
Mark groaned, shaking his head. "No! That was a nightmare! A bad, bad nightmare! I'm not tiny!"
"You want me to pick you up?" Amy asked, and Mark reluctantly nodded. She slid a hand underneath him and stood, holding him up so they could make eye contact. "How the hell did you get down here? You scared the shit out of us."
Mark stretched as he sat up. "Oh, you know." He waved an arm. "We just rock climbed down a dresser and slid down the stairs." He bit his lip, half smiling.
Amy shook her head. "You couldn't have just talked to Sean for awhile and gone to bed?"
"Anti!" Sean screamed out suddenly, drawing everyone's attention. "On the stairs! We saw Anti and Warfstache! They were out! And Marvin and Jackieboy man!"
