Chapter Thirty-six

I asked him to stop near my house and I would walk the rest of the way.

"Thanks, " I said and he smiled at me.

"You're welcome, but I still need to talk to you, " he spoke and I sighed.

"I don't think I'll ever get to see you again, " I spoke and he sighed.

"Can I stay in touch? " he asked.

"I don't have my phone, it got taken at school, " I said and his brows raised.

"Ok, well, still take my number, " he said and took out a piece of paper and gave it to me. I took it and out it in my pocket.

"Now go, before someone sees me, " he spoke and i smiled and got out. He was a nice guy.

"Thanks again, " I said and ran off then he turned and drove away.

I hurried in through the gates, ran pass the water fountain and headed to the back, through the little side gate.

When I got around there I heard loud talking in my house. What's going on, sounds like mom was angry.

I walked up to the kitchen back door and listened.

"No one knows where she is? " I heard mom.

"Alain, calm down, she's probably safe, " i heard one of my aunt's voice.

"Safe? Gunshot were fired, and you think she is safe where they took her? " mom was absolutely angry. They think I'm missing, better let them know that I'm ok now than later.

"If these police can't find her, who will?" I heard while I opened the door and walked in.

"Oh my God, ally? " I heard then my aunt ran over to me and hugged me. She squeezed me, I heard mom sigh.

"Oh my God, thank goodness you're ok, " she looked at me then hugged me again.

"Ally where have you been? " I heard mom.

"What happened? " aunt Alicia asked.

I looked around, there was David, Michelle, aunt aliesha, aunt Alicia and mom, they all looked worried.

"I was in town-" I began.

"Town? " mom asked.

"Alain? " aunt Alicia called to her and she quiet.

"Where's Casie and Matt? " I asked.

"They came home with your car last night," David spoke.

"Are they ok? "I asked and he nodded along with Michelle and mom.

"Tell us what happened, " aunt Alicia spoke.

"Well, I was in town when gunshots started firing and...and brad-" I began but I couldn't manage to say it.

"He got shot, " aunt aliesha finished it and I nodded.

"We know, he's in the hospital, " mom spoke and my eyes went wide.

"What? I thought he died, " I spoke looking at all of them.

"I need to see him, " I spoke and she sighed.

"Ally? " she began.

"No mom! I'm seeing brad ok, " I spoke and moved off.

"I'm coming with you, " I heard David.

"We're all coming with you, " i heard aunt Alicia. Well, everyone except Michelle of course cause she as Malaya and Matt to look after.

We left the house and entered the car and David drove us to the hospital.
