One Week After Christmas...
It was a sad and gloomy day, and the colour black was the occasion. We all stood in the graveyard. Mom, the Fletchers family, my family members, some neighbours and my friends and I.
We stood looking at the casket of Ms. Martha. Mom made sure she was buried and took care of all the expenses. There was alot of crying, alot of tears to shed for this great woman, who was nothing but a great and helpful human being who didn't deserve to die.
"And we say my her soul rest in peace," the priest spoke and tears left my eyes. She was now gone forever.
"She'll never be forgotten," he spoke again and mom held on to me as the both of cried along with the others.
Two Months later......
Christmas is long over and it was now a new school term. I got the caste off my hand and casie got her caste off her foot and school was going well so far.
I'm now in my English class day dreaming on how happy my life is.
"Ally," i heard casie's voice and i jumped in fright.
"Class is over it's time for lunch," she spoke and i looked around, i was the only one left in class.
"Sorry," i spoke and she laughed as i got up and we walked out.
"You wanna tell me about that day dream?" She asked laughing and i smiled.
"Hey girls," someone walked up next to us.
"Oh hey girl," i looked back and saw Monica hugging on to her books with a smile. Oh yea, we're friends now.
"What's up smarty pants," casie called to her, and yea, casie is cool with it now.
"Can you guys believe Sasha came to talk to me today?" She asked and we looked at her. Yea, Sasha and i still weren't friends and Monica stopped talking to her.
"What did she say?" I asked.
"She was like, hey you wanna go grab some food after school, maybe stop by my house later on and talk girl stuff like we used to?" She spoke in a mocking voice and we laughed.
"So what did you say?" Casie asked and she smiled and looked at us.
"Girl bye," she spoke and we burst into laughter. Oh my. Girl bye.
We walked to our lockers then headed to the lunch room.
"So how's it going with brad so far?" Monica asked and i smiled.
"We are always and forever," i spoke as we got our lunch.
"That's great," she smiled.
"Ready?" Casie asked and i took up my soda then Monica and i turned but she ended up bumping into someone and her tray fell and everything scattered.
"Shit!" She spoke frustrated.
"I'm so sorry," i saw Tyreke looking at Monica and she looked up at him and her angry expression changed to a soft one.
"Let me help you get those," Tyreke knelt and started taking up the food and the tray.
"Talk with him," casie nudged her and she fixed her hair behind her ear and knelt next to him.
I looked at casie and smiled. I think she likes him.
"I'm so sorry," Tyreke spoke as they stood and she took the tray.
"It's ok," she spoke.
"Shit, your drink spilled on my pants," he spoke looking at his black pants and she looked at us like she didn't know what to do.
