Sunday flew past like the wind and it was now Monday. Mom was still on the business trip unfortunately and so that means I'm gonna have to drive to school today.
"Michelle I'm leaving," i said from the bottom of the stairs. It's not like she would hear me but i tried.
I was ready, wearing a red converse, black pants and a red crop top with my black sweater. The morning was a bit chilly.
I got in the car and drove out. Casie didn't call so i guess she was gonna show up with malcom.
Moments later.........
I drove into school and parked. I got out and locked the car. There were alot of kids idling especially the seniors.
I swung on my bag over one of my shoulders and started into school.
First lesson..........
"So then your test grades will be added to the system, instead of the averages, because they were so poor, for some of you," Mrs. McCoy, my history teacher spoke. I know my average was low, because i wasn't at school. I don't even think i have an average.
"Ms. Jackson, you need to meet with me-" Mrs. McCoy began but the door burst open.
We all looked to the door and saw Tyreke, malcom and brad walked in.
"Sorry we're late," tyreke smiled and the class laughed.
"Sorry your late? Would you like to stay an extra hour today Mr.?" The teacher looked down at her register.
"Smith," tyreke said and the class laughed. I shook my head with a smile.
"Take a seat, and let it be the last," Mrs. McCoy spoke and they laughed and walked to a seat. I was at the front they were around the back along with Sasha and one of her friends.
"So as i was saying, Ms. Jackson meet with me shortly after class, " she looked at me and i nodded. It must be about my grades.
The lesson began and i took my notes, i was serious about graduating. I had no time to waste.
...........................................
I met with Mrs. McCoy and she told me that i had to do a few test to get a grade and so i decided to do it after school.I was now walking down the hall. Heading to my locker to lock away my books that i wasn't gonna need.
"Good morning," i heard and looked beside me it was nickoy.
"Hey nick," i said and he smiled.
"Nice running into you here," he said and i smiled. I'm supposed to be saying that not him.
"I didn't know you were gonna start coming to this school," i said and he nodded. Are did he tell us? I think ryan told us.
"Yep, I'm here," he said and i looked at him. He was a little taller than me but not as tall as brad.
"What year?" I asked.
"I'm doing my fourth year now," he said. I was one year older than him?
"Any friends yet?" I asked and we passed between two girls.
"Nope, I'm not so good with friends, I'm usually a solo person," he said and i smiled.
"Ok, you'll make friends by the end of the day, just wait on it," i said and stopped at my locker and he stopped and leaned on the one next to it.
"So I'll see you around?" He asked and i nodded with a smile.
"Yea, sure, why don't you come sit with us at lunch," i said and he nodded.
