Tyleen leaned to his touch as she listened close to him. Tears welled up in her eyes. She hasn't cried for years. "No, if you're staying here I'm staying here. I already made my mind up, Levi. I'm not leaving you to die. I'll find a way to get you back. Okay?" She said. "And I could never be better than you, I look up to you to how I want to be but no one can be better than you." She said. Wh n she seen him drift off her eyes widened. "LEVI!" she yelled trying to get him to open his eyes. "Levi! Wake up!" she said as she looked at his horse. Seeing it lay down she had an idea. It was dangerous but it's better than being sitting ducks.
"Don't move." She said the horse standing making sure she didn't see any Titans by and she stood as she locked her arms around his torso and moved him onto the horse as she got on too holding him close. There had to be a chance. She had to help him. "Now stand slowly.." she said to the horse holding the reins hoping he understood her
Moaning through the pain, Levi keeps his eyes closed as the horse slowly stands up with him almost sliding off its back. Thanks to Tyleen’s quick thinking he managed to stay on. Staying limp, Levi slumped over the horse’s neck, groaning in the pain from being moved and definitely haveing broken a few bones.
“What, what are you doing? Tyleen. It’s honourable and all that you don’t want to leave me, but I can’t let you risk your life. This is my burden. Not yours.” Trying to move as to face her, Levi passed out again with the pain growing imence as he had been shifted.
"I'm not leaving you." She said. "Myself, I don't find honor. But it's not even about that." Tyleen said as she held him close to her body so the moving wouldn't hurt him as bad when the horse started moving. She held onto him so he didn't fall. She exhaled softly. "You're not a burden Levi. You would have done the same if it was me." She said even though she knew he passed out. "C'mon go." She said to the horse for it to start going. Once it did she held onto the reins with one hand and Levi with the other keeping an eye out for the Titans.
Tyleen headed towards the wall as she could see it coming up she bit her lip slightly as she rode closer. "Almost there.." she said and kissed the top of Levi's head.
Once there she looked up. "Hurry! Open the gates!" She yelled.
When the gates opened she quickly got inside as she looked for the nearest hospital as she rode closer to one and she stopped the horse. "C'mon Lay down again." She said to the horse hoping it wasn't to late. She couldn't loose Levi. She just couldn't.
Within the minute of Levi being set down Erwin raced in.
“WHAT WAS THIS DUMB IDIOT THINKING?!” His eyes raging and body giving off a severe warnings that anyone who came between him and his friend would be flattened. He say Tyleen out of the corner of his eye.“YOU! You distracted him. He was never reckless or stepped out of line before you showed up. You disobeyed orders and who knows how many others are dead because you had him unfocused! It’s all your fault!” Erwin had tears forming in his eyes. Sure Levi and he had their differences but they both would do anything for each other. Pulling a chair up to the bedside, Erwin prepare himself to keep watch over the smaller, dark haired man on the bed. “You’d do the same for me buddy...” Erwin whispered to the unconscious body.
Tyleen herd Erwin and frowned seeing him come in. She sighed knowing he'd yell at her. Tyleen looked at him as he said it. After a moment of it registering she frowned and looked down as tears welled up in her eyes. She wanted to yell back at Erwin. But he was right. It was her fault. If she never got close to him. Maybe if she was just a little bit meaner and pushed him off maybe he'd be okay. Maybe it would be her our dead in the field and he'd be okay.
"I'm sorry.." she whispered to Erwin. "I didnt mean to cause any hard or hurt anyone or get them killed.." she whispered. Tyleen wanted to make it better but she didn't know how.
Should she had in her papers and go to the fields or the prisons instead? Should she request to go to Garrison or the MPs? Or was there another idea? She didn't know but she felt guilty. Tyleen waited for an order from Erwin or for a punishment for stepping out of line and crippling the mission.
Erwin saw how broken hearted she was. The tears and the lack of fight in her melted his grudge against her.
“No. I’m sorry. You, you really do love him, don’t you?” He knew that his closeness with Levi and how they were inseparable would need to widen to include other people, but it just never had. Levi want one to make friends and Erwin didn’t have the time to worry about other people who expected more from him. But, how she risked her life to bring him home, we all knew that Levi would do the same for anyone else if he had the chance. His collection of badges, and making sure he was there for anyone who needed reassurance as they died on the feild said more about how kind of a person he was taken the icy mask he put on to be able to do his job.
Tyleen looked around him and nodded slightly. She really did love him. "I do.. he's the only person since my family died that actually understood how it felt.. I could open up to him and he was always there.. and I got him hurt.. he could die because of me... I'm really sorry Commander..." She said
Tyleen wiped the tears that were threatening to fall. "If you want.. I can hand in my papers in the morning. Since in the contract it said any one mistake I can be moved somewhere else or even the prison and it'll make sure I don't get him hurt or cripple any more missions.." she said speaking softly.
It pained her thinking about it. But what Erwin said coming in on how he was focused before she came and distracted because of her. She couldn't let that go.
Nice way to show she loves him by getting him hurt. Tyleen wanted Levi to be okay. She wanted him awake and to hug her and tell her everything would be okay, but she knew she wouldn't wake up and things werent okay. "How many died because of me?" She asked softly
