“Levi Reville Ackerman, your highness” He replied. Trying to stand as straight as possible, the slowly lifting one of the hands off the supporting barrier, he saluted the king. But he was insteady, so dropped it as he lost his balance
Tyleen picked up a chair and the king looked at her. "Stop and go sit back down." He instructed her.
Tyleen so I wanted to yell at the king. But how far would that get them. *In a minute." She said trying her best to hide the venom in her voice. She walked to Levi and sat the chair down for him to sit in as she looked up into his eyes for a moment before heading helping him with his balance. "Sit down before you hurt yourself." She said softly so only he could hear
The king sighed a bit inpatient with Tyleen. Especially when she ignored his order on going back to her seat. He looked at Levi unpleased. "Are you two done yet? Cadet, you're going to get yourself in trouble to." He said
“Tyleen. Don’t.” The two words Levi said as he stared the king in the eye. Not acknowledging the chair, or the fact that Tyleen had done anything. “This is my burden. Please just leave it be.” He whispered to her. He tried to keep his mouth from moving much and his voice quiet so no one else could hear it.
Tyleen wanted to argue with him but she knew this so wasn't the time to argue with Levi. She sighed as she moved her gaze the the floor with a frown before she looked at the king. "I'm going back." She said as she made her way across the room to the chair next to the one she removed and she sat down.
The king sighed. "She doesn't listen very well. Are you sure you're able to keep her in line?" The king asked Levi questioning Levi's leadership skills which made tyleen frown slightly.
“Yes sir. Do I need to prove it?” Levi stood, trying to remain standing but his arms were hurting and his side felt warm. And the arm that he landed on was giving him pain now the opium/morphine had worn off. Collapsing to the ground he ended up with his back leaning on the chair
Tyleen stood quickly seeing him fall as an MP tried to push her down. "Go help him! He's probably more hurt!" She said at the MP. But her accent was getting in the way of them understanding her since the angrier she got the thicker her accent. Tyleen wanted to go over and help him but an MP made sure she stayed put.
Hanji got up as she ran over helping Levi to the chair. "Are you okay?" She asked softly.
The king sighed seeing him fall. "She seems hard to control. Is that why you formed a relationship was so she'd listen better?" The king asked suggesting Levi only formed it to be able to control her.
Groaning, Levi tried to sway away Hanjis interjections but everything just ached. His arm was certainly broken and having torn skin near his stomach during the fight his stitches were causing pain as well as the healed. But, he needed to speak up. Doing his best, his voice was weak and shaky. Pushing to stand up, he was held down by Hanji.
Erwin stood from his seat.
“Your highness, we said he would be tried when he was better, he’s evidently not and needs to return to the hospital wing.” Erwin was worried for his friend. This bloody idiot was going to get himself killed if he didn’t stop being so stubborn"No. He's here we can do the hearing." The king said sharply as he looked at Erwin. He looked at Levi. "Stay in the chair and speak up." The king ordered Levi wanting this trial to start.
Tyleen watched Levi, seeing him in pain made her heart feel heavy. Hearing the question from the king about their relationship hurt. Levi wouldn't do that.. he loved her, right? She knew she could be hard to control but she didn't want to assume Levi started the relationship to control her, she believed he did love her. She looked at the king a bit upset.
Levi thought for a while. If he answered yes, he would hurt Tyleen but save himself from persecution. If he told the truth, both of them would stay out of trouble.
“I asked him to Your Highness” Erwin dejected from the crowd. “I knew Tyleen was going to give us trouble so I asked Levi to befriend her, do whatever it took to get her to trust him and keep her under control.” Erwin thought he was doing what was right. Making it blameless on both accounts.
Levi was shocked. His seconds delay in response lead the king to believe that Erwin was telling the truth and Levi didn’t want to tell Tyleen to her face.
Tyleen herd Erwin and she sucked in her breath feeling her heart stop. Those words were hard to hear. Tyleen wanted him to tell the truth no matter how much it hurt her. Even blame her when he could. But these words were still hard to hear. She sat in her chair as she had stopped fighting with the MPs over getting up she was quiet.
The king nodded. He looked at Levi believing Erwin. "So you were following orders. But why did you make it so intimate instead of just being friends?" He asked
“BECAUSE THATS NOT-“ Levi tried to yell to scream to do anything that would get the kings attention but Erwin cut over him as all the sound he could make were whispers. His lungs burnt and throat felt like it was on fire. His body weight was fluctuating and was shivering ok the floor because he didn’t have enough strength to get to his chair.
“That was my plan again sir. You see, Tyleen isn’t a good friend. And seemed to have already developed feelings for Levi in the short time they met prior to the Survey Mission. On my orders Levi continued the relationship in ways that were lead on by Cadet Tyleen.
Tyleen herd Erwin. 'Not a good friend' 'ordered to continue the relationship' were words floating around in her head. She wanted to say they weren't true but Erwin made them doing believable. Was she really that niave and foolish?
Hanji friended as she helped Levi into the chair as she looked at Erwin
The king nodded. "I see, did it make it easier to control her?" The king asked raising an eyebrow.
