The mission

It was the morning of the mission. Everyone was geared up and waiting for the commanders and a few straggler soldiers. Levi was still in his office, mentally preparing himself for what he was about to do. He knew it was dumb, and was probably going to be reprimanded heavily for it, and even might get slapped in the face. But, he had to. How could he die knowing that he had an opportunity and didn’t take it. This was one regret he didn’t want to add to his list.

Tyleen was out waiting with her squad. She was quiet going through everything in her head. She hardly slept thinking about this mission. But ty had to be strong she had to make it through and maybe she could get close enough to make sure he was okay.

Tyleen listened to the other cadets talking and voicing their worries.

"LEVI LETS GO!" Hanji said running into the room and looked at him. "It's almost time to go. We have 20 minutes until we leave!" She said to him

Strolling out, Levi heads past his squad to Mikes. Stopping behind Tyleen, he paused. Was he really prepared to go though with this? He realised that he wouldn’t make it back so he gently put a hand on Tyleen’s shoulder

Tyleen turned around quickly as she seen it was Levi and her eyes softened seeing him. It took every muscle and fiber of her being to not hug him tightly. She looked up at him.

Levi quickly pulled her into a hug. A tight, bone crushing hug that said almost everything that Levi wanted to say, leaning down to her face, he put a hand under her chin.
“No matter what happens, you will survive, for me.” He smiled at her for the first time, heart beating almost out of his chest. This was the last moment to back out but he didn’t want to. He lent down and planted a soft, quick kiss on her lips. Backing away, he used the old, underground salute and bowed to her.
“I’m probably going to die. But you, you will survive, for the Undergound.” With that he joined his already moving squad and left through the gate in the wall

When he hugged her she hugged him back tightly. She had been longing for his hug. She looked back up at him and nodded. "I will, I'll always come back. But please come back for me" she said to him. When he kissed her she kissed him back softly.
Tyleen watched him salute and that made her smile softly and she did the Hyde salute.
He needed to survive. Tyleen wouldn't let him die. The one person to bring her happiness and to talk to and he was nicer then what people thought. Everything she wanted to be as a soldier so she wanted him to come home and would make sure him came back.
Tyleen girl on her horse as she moved out with their squad and they moved theough the walls she looked around seeing all the trees. Tyleen kept her mind focused and tried to see if she could spot levi

Levi’s squad was racing, Levi on point and Petra on flank.
“LEVI! That was the most reckless thing I’ve seen you do in your whole life! Shes a trainee! What were you thinking?!” His friend Petra and he had been in the rain training corps. So she was one of the few people brave enough to say their mind to him.
“It was dumb. But I’m not apologising for it. And Petra, I know you’re good, but this is a suicide mission. Why are you out here?”

Erwin was upset over what he saw Levi do with the red head trainee. All she was is trouble for Levi and he didn't want her to be the thing on his mind. He would talk to Levi when and if they got back.

"They need all the people they can get. And I'm just as good. They're letting trainees come so I wanted to come. I'll be okay" she said to Levi with a nod

Tyleen was riding with her squad out. After a while she noticed some tall mutant looking things those must be the Titans up ahead.

“Okay. Just you’re not allowed to die.” Levi spurred his horse towards the Forrest, and saw a Titan approach from the left. It was a 5m variety and seemingly normal so one of the rear flanks called it.
“I got it!” They ran their horse closer and attached their gear to the titans back and cut the nape in a clean hit.
“Good, now back in formation.

Mike called to the rest of his group,
“who wants this one?” Some of the trainees cowered where as the more seasoned officers looked at it, sizing it up and thinking of how best to stack it”

Tyleen looked at the Titan and at Mike. "I want this one." She said. She wasn't going to cower like the rest of the trainees. She was going to take this one out. She was strong and she was trained- as well as she could be in this amount of time. Tyleen looked at the Titan. She had a plan on how to take it out. So she was waiting for the go ahead.

"I won't, don't worry. You don't die either." She said to him as she watched the Titans and listened to the rear flanks.

“Tyleen, go. And don’t get eaten. I’m not explaining it to your boyfriend if you do.” Mike called back, making a joke about what he saw before the mission started.
“Yeah, she better not die or Levi’s gonna have our necks!” Called another trainee from the side.

Tyleen herd them as she smirked slightly amused as she got closer and she used her gear to get onto it grabbing her sword. Everyone saw the kiss, were they boyfriend girlfriend? Was it an impulse thing? She didn't care she liked Levi and wanted them to be together.

Tyleen got up as she used her force and momentum to slice the nape of the Titan as she blood shot up from her hitting an artery. She moved out the way not wanting to be covered in the blood.

“Petra, do you think I plan to die?” Levi asked jokingly. Deep down they both knew he was not planning on coming back. Petra’s face hardened.
“Whether you like it or not mr. I will be the one dragging you back to command alive just so I can see your face when Erwin rips you a new one!”

Mike’s group kept going as Tyleen joined back into the ranks. “Well done. You’ve got one Titan down. Keep up work like that and you might even end up in the elites.”

Tyleen nodded. "I plan on making it to the elites." She said to Mike once she formed up. She wanted to be one of the best and show them everything she could do. Tyleen was more ready for this now. She just saw it as an underground battle

Mike laughed. “Wit that attitude and those skills, I’m surprised you ended up with me! Actually, I’m not. Levi would want you out of harms way. That’s why Hanji’s not up there with him.” Mike knew a lot of things about the Corporal. He liked to keep to himself but he was like a celebrity. Whatever he did, it traveled quickly.

Mike rolled his eyes. “Your back here cause Levi threatened that if you weren’t he’d do something dumb. He did something dumb anyway but also warned me that you didn’t listen to direction. So that’s why you’re here. Show that you can follow orders, you’ll be in the elites in no time.” Mike rolled his eyes again. Levi would never let her within a mile of a Titan.

Tyleen looked at him. "What else would he have done?" She asked. Tyleen wanted to say she was surprised that Levi was the one that had her put in the rear. But a part of her figured he was the one that had her moved. "And do you think they'll let me get on the elites, when if I do listen to directions?" She asked raising an eyebrow. Tyleen had to prove to Levi she'd be okay and a good soldier for the elites
