One of the cadets was sitting on the bed across from hers. “Still giving ‘favours’ to the higher ups are we?” Her blonde hair and annoying voice gave off an aura of delinquency and self righteousness
Tyleen sat on her bed and glared at the blonde. "Shut up. Stop making stupid remarks." Tyleen said to her as she sat with her back against the wall. "I'm not giving favors to anyone." She said to her
“Well, that’s not what I heard. I heard you and Corporal Levi had a thing going... and I’m guessing it went past ‘strictly business’. Do you know how big he is? I bed that’s the only thing that isn’t so small...” the obnoxious blonde winked at Tyleen. “Of course, that’s all you underlings know how to do. You’re just like animals...”
Tyleen shot a death glare at her. "I said to shut up. I'm not an animal. And what happened between me and Levi is none of your business." Tyleen said with venom starting to appear in her voice. She hated how the blonde was talking about Levi. But she couldn't admit she still had a relationship with him. "Why the hell are you up anyways?" Tyleen asked her. "Just to be a bitch?"
“How dare you call me a bitch!” She walked to Tyleen and slapped her in the face.
'That was it. How dare she slap me like that?!' Tyleen thought. She stood up and punched her in the face as she grabbed her arms leg sweeping her and shoved her to the ground. "Do not touch me." Tyleen said glaring down at her as she kicked her and placed her foot on her holding her still. She glared at her with her green eyes.
“Ow you bitch. Levi would never stay with you if he didn’t get something in return.” Holding her face, Talka ran from the room.
"Stop speaking." Tyleen said annoyed. Tyleen didn't want to think of a 'levi would never stay with you're scenerio like that. She watched her run out the room and she sighed as she sat on the bed to go to sleep. One day it'll fall into place. One day her and Levi can have their relationship. One day it won't matter to anyone else.
Over the next days the Squad Leaders had been training the cadets in order to find people for the next elite swuad
Tyleen was going through the training hoping she was put in Levi's squad but knew that mist likely wouldn't happen on being placed in the elites, especially because the king didn't even want them on the same mission or anything to do with each other. But she was still putting all in.
Erwin kept a close eye on her. She was very good, one of the best in her class. He knew she worked hard to make sure she was put into the elites squad. But... he didn’t feel like he could trust her. But, Levi genuinely loved her. He’s never seen Levi care about anything this much. And, it’s surprising that losing his squad hasn’t taken more of a toll on him emotionally.
Tyleen wanted to see Levi even though she kept that part quiet. Since this whole court thing started and people targeted hers and Levi's relationship she's been quiet, not really talking to the others. Tyleen felt like the only person she could trust was Levi so she'd go to him when they had the chance of not being caught and she'd talk to him about things and listen to what he had to say. Tyleen loved Levi so much. They could talk about the underground and the surface together, and hearing about the other command staff saying he never cared this much for anyone gave her a bit of happiness. Levi always made Ty feel loved.
Levi was alone a lot of the time. He’d read, and downed at least 5 cups of tea in a day. He lived for the short stolen moments that he and Tyleen were alone together. Hanji dropped by often but she was busy training recruits. Erwin also dropped by once in the week that had been since the trial, but Levi was upset with him and his treatment of Tyleen so he kept his answers short and to the point, irritating the commander to the extent of him simply walking out.
Tyleen knew Erwin was upset and she was still upset with him. Especially the talk that he had trying to bribe her to break up with Levi of asking what she wanted to break up with him. Tyleen wanted him and everyone to stay out the relationship. Tyleen looked forward to every moment she got with Levi keeping it secret when she went to his room. It was night time and she knew the other commanders were in a meeting and the recruits had down time so she slipped into his room locking the door. "Hey, how are you feeling?" She asked softly. Tyleen always asked him that question since she was worried about his injuries and if he was still hurt or not. She sat down by him
“This is a long time to be out of action for. I don’t like being idle.” He was grouchy. Itching to get out and keep killing titans.
"I know, but you're healing pretty quickly so you'll be back out there in no time." Tyleen said and smiled trying to be positive
“I hope so.” His eyes drifted off to the training field outside the window. “How’s training going?”
Tyleen nodded. "Training is going pretty well" she said. Tyleen didn't want him to worry or anything like that of her not getting along with the other cadets especially since her and Erwin weren't really getting along since the whole court thing. "One of the top in the training." She said and smiled softly at him.
Pulling her into his lap, he smiled. “I’m so proud of you. I knew you’d do well inthis. You’re a natural fighter.” He smirked. “Once you learn how to follow orders, you’ll be one of humanity’s finest. Might even become a Section Commander.”
Tyleen sat on his lap being careful of his injuries that he still had as she smiled playing with his hair. She playfully rolled her eyes at the learn to follow directions part. "Maybe, and the orders part is a work in progress" she said and smiled. "Maybe one day you'll be a commander" she said to him. He deserved to be commander with everything he has went through. Tyleen wanted to do well to prove to herself she could and she wanted to be good like Levi was.
