Dangers within love

“He lied to protect me. I’m sorry I couldn’t stop him. It’s all my fault. I swear. I love you. None of this is fake. I genuinely care about you and don’t want to see you hurt." Levi said looking at Tyleen

Tyleen listened to him and looked at him. "Don't be sorry Levi, you had to stay out of trouble.. I just wished Erwin let me know before hand what he was going to say." She said softly and held his hand. Tyleen loved Levi and it was obvious he wasn't lying. He wouldn't lie to her. "I love you too Levi, please get better soon" she said looking at him. Tyleen would stay by his side until the hospital told her to go. She felt kinda bad for believing the lie instead of waiting to talk to Erwin or Levi. But it was just a lot to hear in the court room in something that could be true.

Levi gestures for her to come over to the bed. He wanted to kiss her so much that he wasn’t thinking straight. Just as he was about to try and sit up to do so, Erwin walked in.

“LEVI! I get you out of trouble and this is what you do?? Tyleen get out. NOW!”

Levi stopped him. “I asked her to be here.” Levi knew his friend was only doing what he thought was best but Levi didn’t want her to go.

Tyleen went to the bed and she leaned down to kiss him so he didn't have to strain himself. Their lips almost touched before Erwin came in telling her to leave. She stood and frowned slightly, she didn't want to leave she wanted to be by Levi. Tyleen looked at Levi waiting for if she should leave like Erwin said or not

“Let her stay, please. I’m asking as a friend.” Levi was obviously upset over this ordeal.

“And as your commander, I have to tell her to leave. She can’t be with you Levi. I’m sorry. But the next time I catch you two together I will have to report it.” He was sad. His friend was throwing all his hard earned military rank out the window. It was his job to keep Levi from ruining his life. “that’s my final word on it.” Gesturing for Tyleen to leave, he took a seat in a chair.

Tyleen frowned. She didn't want Levi to get in any more trouble about it. She glared at Erwin as she left the room. She went outside leaning against the wall. Now she couldn't see Levi because she didn't want him in any trouble. She loved him so much and was sad that everyone was against their relationship. They're adults they should be able to make their own decisions. Tyleen let a cigarette hitting it hard since she was stressed, but she had to stay away. She couldn't be the reason he looses everything he had worked for.

Hanji frowned looking at Erwin. This whole battle against their relationship was making her upset. "Erwin, don't you think you're being a little harsh? They love each other and she's the only person that makes him happy. I've never seen shorty smile so much!" She said looking at Erwin. Tyleen and Levi needed one person on their side so she decided she'd be on their side.

Erwin grimaced.

“I only said I couldn’t see them together. They just have to be discrete. I didn’t say they could the together. Also Levi, kissing her in front of the whole military was a dumb decision.

Hanji crossed her arms and sighed. She'd get a way to get them to have time together without them being caught. She looked at Erwin. "More people should kiss the ones they love before you leave. The ones that don usually live longer" Hanji argued. She hardly argued about anything if it didn't involve Sweany and Bean.

“Thanks Hanji. Means a lot for you to talk about anything other than titans.” Levi coughed. He was tired from all the moving he’d done today. His eyes were getting heavier and he fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of Tyleen.

Hanji giggled looking at Levi. "You're welcome shorty!" She said. She'd talk about Titans tomorrow just to mess with him. She looked over at Erwin. "We should let them sleep." She said standing.

Erwin walked out of the room. Drawing his attention to the smoking Tyleen.
“I’m sorry. He would have thrown himself under the bus if I hadn’t stepped in. He cares too much about others and not enough about himself.”

Tyleen looked up at him hearing him as she exhaled the smoke. "It's okay, I understand." She said looking up at him. "I just want mine and his relationship to work out and for the king and everyone else to stay out of it. Why is this this big of a deal. We're adults, and people from the underground. No one really cares about us in the first place. Nothing we're doing is hurting anyone else." She said flicking some ash off her cigarette

“He’s our best soldier. And this is what happened when he gets distracted. It’s never happened before so we’re doing our best for it not to happen now." Erwin said

Tyleen frowned and nodded as she sighed leaning back against the wall as she looked up at the sky. She wished she met him in the underground. But even if they did they'd probably try to kill eachother. Usually Hydes hates Ackermans and Ackermans hates Hydes. It's just been the battle. But she'd give all that up to be with him. Even in the underground. "But he's trying to focus and have a relationship. It's hard not to be distracted when everyone you know is against something you love. It distracts you by trying not to get caught." She said

“He’s suspended. Enjoy the time you have with him while he is. It will get harder when he’s back in active duty.” Erwin turns and leads her to his office. They both sit down at his desk and he folds his hands on the table.

“What can I do to make you tell him it’s over? He can’t be distracted by you. The sooner he gets over you the better.”

Tyleen nodded slightly when he to her to enjoy the time they have. She followed him to his office and sat down. When he asked that she crossed her arms. "Nothing. Because I'm not doing that." She said. "I'm not leaving him." She said stubbornly. She had to fight for what she loved. Even if she'd get in trouble she had to fight for them.

Erwin cracked his knuckles. “I’m not joking around here, kid. You need to take this offer.”

Tyleen watched him crack his knuckles as she glared. "I never said you were. I'm not a kid." She said upset already thinking of a way to hurt him for if he tried to attack her. "I'm not taking the offer. I'll die before I end it with him." She said sharply as she stood.
