After 10 painful minutes of searching for a parking spot, I'd finally found one.

I let out a happy sigh of relief when I noticed it behind another row of cars. But as I drove my car towards the empty space, another car drove up targeting the exact same spot.

I glanced at the pink Mercedes across from me, eyeing the — unusually handsome — driver.

His pink hair was parted to the side, showing off a pair of chocolate orbs that were staring directly into mine.

His lips we're parted, as if wanting to say something. I don't know what stopped him, but he sighed and signalled for me to take the spot instead.

I bit my lip, taking in his disheleved hair which was enough evidence to tell me that he'd been here for a longer time than me.

So I smiled at him and shook my head. Before he could refuse, I reversed my car and drove off to find somewhere else to park my car.

I finally exited my car, squinting my eyes as I got out as the hot sun shone brightly on me.

I opened the back seat and pulled my luggage out of the car, closing the door with a push of my shoulder as my hands were occupied.

As I walked up to the building, it was then I'd only realise how beautiful it truly was.

(Just pretend it's bright out and has more floors hhh)

It was simple, just how I liked it.

I smiled, walking into the building and getting in line in front of the receptionist.

I fished out my phone and checked for any unread messages.

I rolled my eyes and shoved it back into my bag.

I got into the crowded elevator, which made breathing seem like difficult task.

I was starting to regret not taking the stairs up instead.

When the elevator finally halted to a stop and the doors parted, I stepped out of the elevator and searched for my room.

139... 140... 144.

There it was.

I pushed my key into the keyhole and twisted it, not in the slightest bit surprised when I saw a pair of shoes thrown to the side.

I placed my timberlands on the shoe rack and decided to have a look around the place.

It was neat and tidy. Cozy, too.
