(Lissa Pov somewhat book 5)

I had done it, I turned Dimitri Dhampir again, his head in my lap crying. I stroked his head trying to calm him down, it had been a rough change and he felt so guilty. After that everything moved so quickly, people wanting to kill him, I had screamed and pleaded but no one listen. I woke up next to Christian...wait CHRISTAIN?! I slowly got up and tilted my head and watched him sleep. I always said I was over him but deep down....I loved him and missed him, it felt like a piece of me left. I soon decided to get ready but when I got back he was up. "M-Morning..." I stuttered looking down "how are you feeling?" He asked me.  I shrugged sitting down "stressed..." I whispered as he sat down next to me. "Why don't they believe me?" I said leaning my head on him without realizing but I couldn't care anymore. He wrapped his arm around me "they are new to this, give them time" I closed my eyes just living in the moment "Christian I miss you, I thought we were dead last night" I sighed. We locked eyes and looked away, we weren't ready I guess "Lissa..." he started but I cut him off with a kiss, fireworks that's what I felt, I wish the kiss had lasted longer but he pulled away. "I-I'm sorry" I started but he stopped me "Lissa you can't just do that" he said shaking his head and standing up. "Christian please forgive me, I should have fought Avery's compulsion, I'm a mess without you" I sighed I looked up and saw him being concerned "Christian I know this is a Rose move but I know you love me" I had tears in my eyes now trying not to cry. "Lissa, I care for you but I need to think, I understand this was all because of Avery but I still need to think" he pulled away from me getting up and walking to the door. "please..." I started but he left and I sat there trying to stay strong. Hopefully I didn't get Rose in my head, I stood up and left my room to go and see Dimitri. I got down and they led me to him "Dimitri" I said as the guardians stayed right by the door. He turned to me "your back" he said looking at me "I said I would be" I smiled looking at him. We talked for a while and I soon left to go find Rose, stupid one way bond, I soon found her and we walked to my room and sat on the bed. "Just go on a date" she sighed  seeming slightly annoyed "Okay I will" I said feeling excited.
I made my way to Christians room and knocked on the door now feeling anxious. "Hello?" He said opening the door seeming startled that I was there. "Do you um...want to go on a date?" I asked with a faint smile. He thought for a moment and nodded stepping out of his room and closing the door "lead the way" he sighed and walked with me to one of the nice restaurants. "Table for 2?" Asked a female not looking up "Yes" I said, she looked up and bowed a little "princess" she said and led us to a table. We sat down and looked at our menus "so, what's with the date?" Christian asked looking me straight into the eyes "I wanted to start over, you were right I shouldn't force this so I thought a new start would help" I explained making him smile slightly.

The lady came over and took our orders then left once again "so" I said looking at my drink "I already know you so we cant do basic talking" I said "agreed" he said drinking his drink. "What have you been doing lately?" he asked, "oh um I have visited Dimitri, talked with Rose and then asked you out" I said "did rose give you this idea?" Christian asked, I nodded. "How about you?" I asked, he shrugged "been learning more attack magic, talking with Tasha, and training others" he said making me smile. He must have noticed "why are you smiling?" he asked "well people think you are such a bad person but I know deep down you are one of the nicest people I have ever met, and anyone would be lucky to be friends or just know you" I said and grinned. "You know Lissa, I was thinking" he started but got interrupted by our food. After that we ate in silence, my brain was thinking like crazy. Did he forgive me? did he want me to leave, did he want to marry me?! We finished and left the restaurant and walked down the hall to my room. Christian pulled me aside and pinned me against the wall "Lissa, I miss you, I love you so much" he said and kissed me, I felt the fireworks and wrapped my arms around him. We broke the kiss and we both had a blush. "Want to stay the night?" I asked and he nodded as we made it to my room and walked in. We got into bed and fell asleep in each others arms.
