"Rose I think he is going to do it" I grinned. It had been months since all the drama and Christian and I were happy. Rose made a hum not moving from her spot. I loved that rose was my guardian but she was so more stern now, she was worried that I would get hurt because the bond was gone. "Come on, give me more then a hum" I groaned. I was learning. This whole queen thing. She looked at me "I'm happy for you Liss but I need to do my job, maybe once I'm off" she said. I frowned but agreed and did my Queen duties. The door opened and Christian walked in with Dimitri on his tail. I watched Dimitri walk to Rose and give her a quick kiss before getting into guardian mode.

Christian walked up to me and we shared a kiss. "When are you free?" He asked, he was playing with his shirt. "I'm off in two hours" I said with a smile. I watched his aura get brighter. "Okay I'll see you then, I love you" he said kissing me again before leaving to do his own thing. I continued with my queenie duties and took a break to talk to my half sister I guess. I was getting used to her being around but still hadn't fully accepted the fact. Once I was finished Rose said goodbye to switch out Guardians and I went off to go find Christian. I ran into Dimitri telling me Christian was outside under the willow tree.

I walked to the tree and smiled when he came into view. He had set up a picnic with candles. "Hey, whats all this?" I asked wrapping my arms around him. He gave me a kiss before pulling away. "Since you have been working so hard lately I thought I would give you a surprise to relax. His aurora shifted a little which showed he had lied making me sad. We sat down and reminisced about school and before all the drama. We spent the whole night laughing. I missed this when I was working and it made me regret ever getting involved.

I watched him hand me a small box with a ribbon. "I got this to go with the surprise" he said. I opened it which revealed ring. I let a gasp escape my lips as I hadn't thought of that I just thought it was some earrings or something. He took the ring and got down on a knee.

"Lissa, you are the most amazing girl I have ever met. You never judged me by my parents faults and always believed in me. I realized I wanted to spend my whole life with you and conquer the world with you. Will you take me to be your husband?" he spoke making me cry. I nodded my head and he slid the ring onto my finger. We shared one last kiss before heading to our room to sleep.

I knew from then on we would be set. No matter what happens he will always be here with me and that's all I could wish for.
