Dimitri X Reader

(Request by Lexisnape. You are Roses older sister by 2 years this will be based on the first book)

I jogged around the track, I volunteered to take over this class for a few days for extra credit. This was my last day and I had seen improvement so I decided to go a little easy on them. "Okay guys I'm going to end class a little early so go get cleaned up and just stay in here until class is actually over" I called. I watched the novices cheer before jogging back into the gym to rest themselves and cleanup. I heard the door open and I looked up to see Stan who taught us guardian history and training. He looked at the novices before turning his attention to me and motioning me to come over.

"What is it?" I asked walking over. "You sister, they got her, she is in headmistress Kirovas office" he said before barking some things at the novices.I didn't hesitate at all, I sprinted to her office taking the quickest paths. Once I arrived I smoothed out my clothing and hair before knocking on the door. "Who is it, I am in the middle of-" Kirova called before I opened the door cutting her off. "Ah (y/n), I see Stan told you" I nodded before looking at my sister and Lissa. I wanted to yell at them and hug them but I knew if I was going to stay I had to keep quiet. I walked to the wall next to Guardian Belikov and watched everything unfold.

I walked with Rose to her new dorm after the lecture. "I'm glad your back" I said looking at her with a small smile. She didn't return it, we got into the dorm and I sat on the bed patting the spot next to me. "I know you can't tell me why you left but its important to stay here and learn the proper guardian training. She muttered a few curses before I changed the subject "look I work with guardian Belikov for extra training, he is a really great teacher just different and a bit much" I explained. It felt weird to talk to her now, it had been more then a year so I had dug myself into my training. When Belikov transferred I was offered private sessions because they said I had potential. I t was rough for the first week but soon I got better and even started to be able to spar with him.

We compared schedules and talked about normal things before I realized it was time for my extra training. I gave her a hug before leaving the room and sprinting back to the gym and throwing my hair into a ponytail (unless you have short hair). I slowed my pace and walked into the gym seeing Dimitri reading his book. "Sorry I'm late, I was getting caught up. Am I running today?" I said walking over. I had gotten on a first name basis after a few weeks and liked to think we had some connection even though we both didn't think about it. He set his book down and nodded "I'll run with you today" he said as we made our way out and started to run. "Thank you for keeping Rose and training her" I said controlling my breathing.

"She has potential like you, just a bigger mouth" he explained making me laugh. I saw him crack a smile and speed up so I increased my pace as well. After a few laps we stopped and made out way inside and stretched before starting to train hand to hand. It was very intense and when I payed close attention I could see how focused he was and how he tensed when we made contact. I got distracted and didn't see one of his moves coming. I fell to the ground from the impact and let out a groan rolling over. "You okay?" Dimitri asked getting down to my level. I let out a nod and put my plan into action, I used my leg to push against him so I could get him down. It worked and I stood up with a big smile and that's when it happened. He laughed, it was a low chuckle but it escaped and it made me giddy, I held my hand out and he took it getting up. "Good training today" he said before grabbing his stuff and leaving.

Months later, Rose and Lissa are doing fine. I noticed Rose does seem off but I don't question it and just continue with my own things. I help her out with training when she needed it and she made her enemy named Mia. Dimitri and I have gotten closer during training but keep it professional which gets slightly annoying. Today I'm going with the girls shopping as back up guardian just in case Rose doesn't pay enough attention which I don't think will happen. I walked with the girls to the van and smiled to Dimitri who handed me a flashlight. I gave him a confused expression but then it clicked. Used against strigoi to blind them. Dimitri and I got in the back while the girls talked like crazy. I wasn't paying attention because of how close Dimitri was to me.

Once we arrived they started shopping and Dimitri and I stayed farther away until I was called over to try a dress on. Rose stood guard as I through it on and showed them it was (f/c), above the knee and a flowy skirt. They are commented nice things and I locked eyes with Dmitri who was staring. I went back and changed before going back to my position. Once the shopping was done we got back in the van and I fell asleep because when I woke up I was on Dimitris shoulder. "Sorry" I muttered getting out and walking back to the dorms Rose got on the bench before it broke. I ran over as she screamed and picked her up "help me get her to the nurse" I yelled, Dimitri came over and helped me before we put her in the bed. Lissa wouldn't leave the hall so I went to punch something to calm down.

Dimitri had followed me before I noticed and he just stood there watching me. I walked over and leaned into him finally breaking. My body started to shake and I collapsed. We both sunk to the ground and he wrapped his arms around me. "She will be okay (y/n)" he said and began to whisper something in Russian. I didn't understand it but it calmed me down. We sat there for what felt like hours, I loved it. After a while we stopped and I left after hearing about Roses update it was time to get ready for the dance. I threw on the dress with some make up and my hair in a messy bun.

Once I got to the room I saw Dimitri and smiled not getting one back before I saw Rose, Lissa and Mia. I made my way over listening to the conversation before putting a hand on Mia's shoulder. "I don't like your attitude, either shut up or be nice kiddy" I said crossing my arms, with my heals on I was much taller then her. I think that' s when she lost it, she bared her fangs and hissed at me but before I could respond Rose came in front of me and punched her. I watched Rose get grabbed and dragged away and students running, Rose called to someone before fully gone. I followed Rose and hid before entering the room and staying in the corner until something happened. I noticed how she zoned out before freaking out and trying to get out. "Rose" I said walking over. "Lissa is in danger" she said and before I could think I broke the lock and ran to the only place I knew. I banged on Dimitris door until he opened it. "Lissa is in danger, Rose saw something" I said before we both ran out and began barking orders.

Everything flew by after that we found Lissa after fighting off the guardians of Viktor, Lissa's uncle. He was the bad guy and ended up turning his daughter strigoi. Rose almost died and Lissa and Christians soon become a thing. As for Dimitri and I we decided on something secret since it wasn't really acceptable. Rose and Lissa felt safe enough to talk to me about everything that was happening and I was now able to stay in the loop.

I left my dorm and made my way to Dimitri's room to hang out with him in private and just cuddle. This was what happened every other day I came over to spend time with him and just forget all our troubles which I was okay with.
