Rose x Dimitri

Rose Pov

I woke up at court and looked out the window seeing the sun was just setting. I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Once finished I put on my guardian outfit and put my hair up. I walked to my dresser and took my stake out and putting in on my waist then left the room. I walked to the throne room to go see Lissa and saw Dimitri up ahead. "Hey comrade" I said catching up to him "hello Rosa" he said making my heart flutter. "So, wanna bet Christian is with Lissa?" I asked with a grin "Yes, that is why I am heading over there" he said making a turn. "So how about during our shifts we do something?" I asked looking up at his tall figure. "Are you hinting at something?" He said raising his eyebrow perfectly. "Maybe, just meet me at the cafe" I smiled and walked into the throne room and up to Lissa. "Hey, how is it going?" I asked her while nodding at Christian to say I saw him. "Good, being queen is hard work" she said slumping down "your doing fine" Christian spoke giving her a kiss "awww" I said making them shake their heads at me. "Go talk to your lover" she teased me which made me smirk "Maybe I will" I replied and walked to the corner where Dimitri was.
I smiled at him as he kept on duty "so comrade" I started leaning on the wall "what is it Rosa?" He asked "nothing just was told to talk with you" I smiled "Rose we both know you weren't ordered if anything Queen Va-" I cut him off "Lissa just Lissa" I said as he nodded "if anything Lissa joked about it and you decided to come over here" he said with a faint smile "you know us to well" I said punching his shoulder. Hours passed and it was our lunch break "see you at the cafe" I whispered walking to the door "good bye Lissa" I called doing a bow and leaving to the cafe and finding a table. I saw Dimitri walk in and over to me "finally made it" I joked "yes I made it, unlike you I waited for the next guardians" he said as I laughed lightly. "Well since we are off duty...want to go hang out at my room?" I asked as he shook his head "I should have known you wouldn't stay here" he sighed with a smile and stood up. "I will take that as yes" I said getting up and holding his hand. We got to my room and we sat on the bed in silence "I love you Dimitri" I whispered leaning my head on his shoulder "I love you to Rosa" he said kissing my forehead making my heart flutter. I looked at him and kissed his lips he seemed surprised but kissed back. Soon enough it had escalated to something more....way more.

I woke up feeling sore but still got up and took a shower. Once I finished I saw Dimitri up and stretching "Morning Dimitri" I smiled as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and grabbed my stake. "Morning Rosa, how are you feeling?" He asked "good, we should get going" I said and he nodded agreeing. We left my room and went to the throne room where Lissa would be with Christian like every other morning. I walked in and gave Lissa a hug and an apology for not returning after my shift was over. "It's okay, you seem to be very happy" she said winking like she knew what had happened. "Yes I am happy" I said and stood next to her for my shift then went to grab lunch with Dimitri. "So...about yesterday" I said making eye contact with him. I looked away waiting for a reply "what's wrong Rosa" he said taking my hand "I wish we could have a family" I said suddenly "what?" He asked surprised. "I want kids but that won't ever happen!" I exclaimed feeling very upset "I do to Rosa and even if we could....we are guardians" he whispered squeezing my hand as I did the same. A little while later I felt like  I was going to throw up so I stood up from the table and to the bathroom to throw up my lunch. "Rosa?" Dimitri said knocking on the door. "I'm fine must be something I ate" I called getting some water and swishing it in my mouth and spitting. I walked out and down the hall in silence with Dimitri following.
We made it to my room and sat down. I leaned on his chest as he held me "Dimitri  I always eat the same food, do you think someone's after me?" I asked as I listened to his heart. "Of course not Rose, your to good to have someone after you" he said hugging me tighter. I looked at the clock to see the time "we need to go, our lunch break is over" I said getting up but was pulled back down. "Rest, I can handle this" he said kissing my cheek and leaving.
I must have dozed off because when I woke I felt arms around me. "Dimitri" I said with a smile "yes?" He asked "nothing I just had a good dream" I said turning to look at him. "What was it?" He asked curiously "I was pregnant and we had a family" I whispered "did our kids grow?" He asked with a smile. "Yes, we had a boy and a girl... the boy was Ivan and the girl was Harper" I told him feeling tears in my eyes. "Do you want to try?" He asked "try what?" I asked confused. "A test...since you puked, it got me thinking" he said "one is in the bathroom" he said kissing me as I got up and went to use the test.
I waited 5 minutes and saw one line and a very faint one making me gasp. "Dimitri!" I called as tears fell, I heard him run in worry in his eyes "what's wrong?" He asked. I held up the test "I'm pregnant!" I said shaking as he walked over and hugged me. "I love you Rosa, and our kid or kids" he said kissing my lips as I kissed back. We pulled away and went back to bed and fell asleep.
