Sydney's Pov after the books

I decided to give Rose and her kind a chance even though I knew rose and Dimitri and liked them. I made my way to the court and was let in "Sydney!" I turned around to see Rose jog over in her guardian outfit "on duty?" I asked, we had talked over phone but I hadn't seen her since the hotel incident. "Just heading over, Christians with her so Dimitri is there" she told me as we started walking to where ever "how have you been?" I asked her, she smiled "I'm doing great, I can guard Lissa, be with Dimitri and I'm on good terms with everyone" that last part shocked me "how is the bond, and what's his name" I said "oh the bond vanished...I miss it sometimes, and you must mean Adrian..." she said her smile fading "we aren't on good terms since we broke up, he's on the edge on spirits insanity...and we just haven't talked even though he trains with Lissa" she sighed and opened a door "we are here" she told me and I looked around to see Jill talking with Lissa, Christian from what Rose described standing and of course Dimitri who was watching vigilantly until he saw Rose. "Go say hi" Rose said pushing me a little then made her way to Dimitri for a kiss I was guessing. I walked over and bowed "hi, I'm Sydney, you must be Queen" I said but interrupted "call me Lissa" she smiled "I can do that" I was still a little on edge but not as much. I looked over at Rose who was on guard duty while still talking with Dimitri, "how are you Jill?" I asked sitting down "good, Lissa and I are just doing some sister bonding" Jill smiled brightly turning back to her sister "you must be Christian" I said looking over at him, he nodded "don't talk much?" I asked making Lissa laugh "he does just not around new people" I nodded understandingly.
I looked over at some movement and saw a guy, matching his description I knew it was Adrian. "You must be Adrian" I smiled trying to be friendly, he nodded and looked behind me and I followed his gaze, he was watching Rose and Dimitri, except they were on guard now...weird.  "Ignore them" I said which made him look at me. "Oh you have no idea how I try" he said making me hold back I laugh "I do actually" I said. "Then Tell me" he challenged, only to see everyone was staring. "Come on" he said holding out his hand. I took it carefully and we left the room, "tell me" he said leaning on the wall, by then I could smell the alcohol. "Well you are in love with her and she loved Dimitri but he turned Strigoi  and then she gave you a chance and that made your world" I said as he nodded "he got turned back and she tried to forget him and you guys stayed a thing but while on the run they re-lit there love and then I got caught and they came to the hotel and you were with them...they went behind the van to say be careful and chat but they kissed after the talk and you caught them and that broke her heart, after everything settled down you talked with her and got pissed and now try not too talk" I smiled as I saw him look at me in wonder. "Correct only I didn't know you were involved in knowing" he said grimly. "Well I didn't want to be involved" I said trying to be better, he shrugged "come get a drink with me" he said going to grab my hand "back off" I said getting defensive "fine just come on" he said and started to walk. I wanted to leave and go back to Rose but something about him just drew me in.
We sat down at the bar and just talked about life and spirit, "and now your at the edge of it" I said after filled me in about spirits dark side. "Your not so bad" I said with a smile "thanks I guess" he shrugged finishing his drink "so want to give me a chance Sydney?" He asked with a small grin "Adrian I would but I don't trust you guys" I said with a frown "but you trust Rose and Dimitri" he said anger in his eyes. "Because I spent more time with them, I only have known you for a few hours!" I said standing up getting worried. "Just take me back to the others" I whispered as he got up, he nodded and started walking with me behind him. We walked back into the room and I went over to Rose "what's wrong Sydney?" She asked, must have saw my worry. "Nothing just...to much time with the moroi guy" I said with a shudder remembering the anger in his eyes. "Well we can talk later Christian Left so Dimitri did as well, so I need to be on high alert" she gave me a sympathetic smile and went into her guardian mode as I walked over to Lissa and Jill. "What happened?" Lissa asked with a smile "nothing, just talked" I said "he likes you" she said making me shake my head "no" I said "I can sees his aura and it was glowing" she said with a grin "so what" I got defensive "that only happens when a person like someone" she said making me shut up. "And it's the same with you" she smiled "no way!" I exclaimed and lowered my voice.
We talked a while longer "Rose take Sydney to her room" Lissa said, "but" Rose started but a guardian walked in and Rose understood she was off duty. "Come on" she said and led me out of the room. "You should date" she said "what?" I asked "Adrian...you guys make a cute couple" she smiled and stopped at a door "here is your room" she said and walked off. I walked in and there he was Adrian "so give me a chance?" He asked holding a Rose. "Fine but no funny business" I asked and crossed my arms making him nod. Oh god what have I gotten into...
