Vanth's path to royalty

(Vanth's point of veiw) 

I was looking at the unbuilt castle and then I used my magic and suddenly the unfinushed building transformed into a castle. 

Then I used my magic to decorate the castle to something that was more my style now. 

I noticed a portal in one room then though. I touched it and then some shadow creatures come out of the portal. 

"What's all this about?" I asked. 

"I don't really know. We only appeared here just now" The creatures said. 

"Hm.....Well don't worry. You'll have a home now if that's what you want just stick with me. Your free to do whatever you wish. In return for my protection and a place to live though whenever I need you, do whatever I ask for" I said. 

"Fair enough" The shadow creatures said. 

About a year later we were the bestest of friends. (Me and the shadow creatures) 

I was running out of food in the castle so I decided that it was time to go. 

"Alright. I have an idea. But first I must let you guys know that I'm running out of food here so there's only one way I will survive. You need me for protection though. The way I can do that is to seal you in this mirror. Once I do that I'll be able to free you once I get to a place to stay permenently" I said. 

"As long as I can help when you need it" A shadow creature said. The shadows then transformed to human like creatures and this girl had straight long purple hair and blue eyes. 

"Of course" I said. 

So I set off to find a home. I came towards where my village was and passed it. It looked horrible and somewhere deep inside it made me mad but it was covered up by my thirst for my revenge. 

I just walked past the village and eventually I found myself in a place that looked very diffrent from what I was used to. I walked to this one building and it looked as though it might be able to hold a lot of people in it and so I walked in. 

"Hey, Mr. is it okay if I stay here?" I asked. 

"Huh?" A girl said. She looked down to see me. 

"Where are your parents?" The girl asked. 

"They are gone" I said. 

"Oh. Yeah. I'll make a deal with you. If you help clean the place up you can earn a little bit of money and you'll be able to buy some things you want and I'll also let you stay here" the girl said. 

"Just one question. What's money?" I asked at the time. 

"Haven't you seen money before?" The girl said. 

"No ma'am. We....I mean I grew up in a very poor village" I said. 

"I see. Well then you should get some sleep. You have a big day tomorrow" the girl said. 

She went up an elevator with me and took me to my room. She also gave me this thing called soda and let me watch tv. 

When I saw the people on the screen though I said "How did they get stuck in the tv. We  have to save them" I said. 

"They aren't stuck in the tv. They are acting" The girl explained. 

"Acting?" I asked. 

"It's when people pretend to be some other charecter" The girl said. 

"Oh, cool" I said. 

The girl laughed and told me if I needed anything to let her know and that she'd just be working down at the bottom floor of the building. 

I nodded and watched tv all night. It was really nice to have tv shows to watch.

(A couple months later) 

"Vanth, we need your help up on floor 562" A girl said over the intercome in my room. 

So I quickly got dressed because I learned this would be the first request of many. Then I went up the elevator and saw the girl on the top floor. 

I got annoyed when I saw who it was. It was Anne. She was all about believing in people. I thought it was just stupid to do that. After all, people weren't all that good. 

"Quickly we need to get the room clean. Royalty is coming over. I wonder if the prince has a girlfriend though" Anne said. I rolled my eyes. This was another thing you had to deal with when it came to her. 

She was always talking about boys. Specifically cute ones. It annoyed me so much because I knew so much better then anyone else that good looks dosen't mean the person is good or evil. 

I did my job helping Anne and when we were finushed we went to Bell, the woman who took me in, and she said that we had a day off. I didn't get a chance to do so a whole lot so I took advantage of this and I slept some more. I had been really tired. I woke up early in the morning and I stayed up late watching movies and cartoons. 

The royal family stayed there for a couple of days though and on the second day the mother of the royal family had asked about me and the woman at the front told her all about me. 

The royal family had then decided to take me in and adopted me that day. I was now a part of their royal family. I had a new brother and sister now though. 

I was glad that I had a brother but I didn't want another sister. After all, my sister is someone that couldn't be replaced. 

A few weeks past though and me and my brother got close as well as the queen and king with me. My sister however, I would talk very little too. The queen and king always asked why but I just told them I didn't want another sister and left it at that. They didn't want to question it further though because they saw the only spark of emotion I had left in my eyes. It was the emotion of pain, the emotion of being left behind. 

My sister was really nice and sweet though and tried everything she could to try and get me to like her but most of the time I just shut her out. 

The shadow creatures liked their new home though and roamed out in town during the night feeding on the dark emotions that others felt. They also made these emotions grow until evil was born. If it was what they prefered to do though who was I to stop them. 

So that's my story and how I went from a village that was poor to being part of a royal family.
