Astro and Wonderman Book 6 (Book version): Life and death

(Pixie's point of view)

We woke up in some sort of weird building we'd never seen before.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. But why are we here and where are we? Weren't we all going to the missionary to go on some sort of job?" Plete asked.

"Yeah. I thought so too. This dosen't look like the missionary at all" Sabella said.

"Wait.......how long has it been Jess?" I asked. Jess opened the only door in the room to go outside. After a few minutes she came back inside.

"It's been about a week" Jess answered.

"Oh, crap. We're so in trouble. If we come out of this alive anyway. Mom isn't going to be happy" I said. Then Jess, me and Plete all shivered at just the very thought.

"Pixie, where are we?" Lex asked finally awakened.

"In trouble land possibly. That's where" I said.

"What do you mean?" Lex asked.

Then Loki woke up and said "Where's Darkness?"

Then Lulu some up.

"Good question. I'm pretty sure she came with us" Sabella said.

"Well I suppose we can say goodbye to any privileges we could have had. I don't know which is scarier. Astro or Starlight when they are mad. Not to mention both" Plete said.

"Not today. Come on. Darkness shouldn't be too far from here. After all she was with us" I said.

Then we all walked out of the building. We were also in the middle of nowhere.

"Okay. I really don't remember this" I said.

"This is strange. A little too strange. First we're in some other place and then we don't remember what happened recently except for us going to get a job request from the missionary and then we are in the middle of nowhere" Loki said.

"Hey, I know how we can find Darkness. Jess do that spell that leads you to your target" I said.

"That's just it though. I can't sense her magic power anywhere" Jess said.

"What! That can't be. Future Darkness was alive. Wouldn't that mean her past self would have to be alive too" Loki said.

"Not necessarily. The future always has a tendency to change. But I'm sure she's okay, Loki. She's tough and she had to stay alive. She was planning on marrying you. So I'm pretty sure she would fight like heck to keep herself alive" Lulu said.

"She's gotta be okay. She's gonna be okay" Loki told himself.

"Who's being the mature one now?" I teased.

"Not the time, Pixie!" Loki said giving me one of his scary looks.

"Oh, don't be such a child about it we'll find her" I said.

"I'm not being a child about it. And what's arguing with each other gonna do" Loki said.

"Hey, you started it" I said.

"You know what I'll just look for her on my own" Loki said.

"We do things as a team. You are part of team Pixie aren't you?" I asked.

"I am but right here and now I'm working alone" Loki said.

Then he walked away from us.

"You can't go alone! We don't know if it's dangerous or not!" I yelled after him.
