We went driving all the way to our new house in LA. I was mostly asleep and listening to music on the road as we go to reach our new house.
"Honey wake up" mom moving while she is driving
"What happen are we here already?" my eyes squinting and trying to clear my voice
"Yes we are here.....here in our new big house" she said smiling at me
"Oh.....great......" i said in a depressed voice
"Dont worry i promise you'll make new friends here and you might be with someone" my mom said it happy n childish to make me feel better.
"What ever" i said it with hate
"Would you at least get out the car and help me get our things inside and unpack.......please" my mom said with an innocent voice and try to look innocent as well.
I got out the car and went to help her out plus i need to i promised my dad i would always be here to help my mom. So i went towards the moving truck to grab some things and put them inside our huge house. As i made my way to the where the door was opened i bumped into a kid and we both feel to the ground.
"Hey buddy watch where you going next time i could've died" i said while rubbing the back of my head
"Im sorry man i didnt mean to" hayes said feeling sorry but also hurt after the fall he had.
I open my eyes to see a had reaching out to me. It was the kid......a cute kid......wait what did i just say!?!?! Anyways i grabbed his had and he help me get up.
"Thanks" i said
"Your welcome and sorry again man i just wanted to come and say hi and help you move in because i never saw you and i said to myself that you must be new here and as i was making my way here to say hi and help out i didn't notice you and i bumped into you which im sorry again man" hayes said with a guilt voice
In my head i was like "awww how nice he is apologizing i feel bad now" so then i said "Its ok man its not your fault it happens to people sometimes no biggy" i said feel bad for him. He smiles and says to me "My names is Hayes Grier nice to meet you whats yours" he said as he sticks his arm out to shake me hand
"Hi my name is David Estrada nice to meet you Hayes" i said while shaking his hand.
My mom soon came and saw me greet hayes and she came over to us
"See i told you would make friends" she said as she smiled at hayes
"Hi you must David's mom nice to meet you" he said while shaking my mom's hand
"Well nice to meet you too" my mom said happy
"Mom this is hayes and he said he came here to say hi and welcome and also help us move in" i said
"Well how nice of you" my mom said as she smiled at hayes
"Well i forgot to tell you one more thing David" he said feel dumb
"What is it?" I said
"My parents want to invite you guys to dinner with us so they can meet you and welcome you guys" he said
"We would be glad to come over and have dinner with you guys" my mom said politely
"Alright ill go tell my parents then nice to me you david and see you later at my place" he said while running of to his house.
My mom and i soon finished moving in and unpacking we were all set in our new home.
