Chapter 16 - Saying Goodbye

[Hayes POV]

I couldn't stop thinking about David coming out alive or not from the surgery. I feel so guilty......if I never ignored him in the first place nor be ashamed of me being with him non of this would've happened. Ugh what's taking them so long.

"We are done with the surgery and his okay just come back tomorrow to see him, he needs some rest first okay" Dr. Smith told all of us

Davids mom goes back hom e and I go back home with my mom and Nash.

"Hey Hayes you okay bro you were quite the whole time when u stopped crying u sure your fine?" Nash asked me

"Huh.....what......oh yeah I'm just thinking" I said

"If you don't mind me asking but what are you thinking about bro?" Nash asked again

"I'm........I'm thinking of breaking up with David......." I said as Nash was surprised and I was really hurt from the inside as I said those words

"But why? I thought you liked him?" Nash said

"I do I really do Nash I just don't like him I love him........but look where he is cause of me his at the hospital I'm just happy the surgery went good and David isn't dead......I don't want to see him get hurt again and for me to do that is for me to stay away from him..........like he said......" I said as Nash was surprised what I said and I felt really hurt and sad cause of saying that but it is the truth on what I need to do for David to be okay and not get hurt again.

-------The Next Day-------

I woke up by my alarm and went to go take a shower and get ready to see David and......talk to him.....

I finished getting ready and told Nash if he can drive me to the hospital he said yes of course and he headed out. We arrived soon and I went to Davids room. Once I entered I saw Davids mom and David awake and they both looked at me.

"Umm....David can I talk to you please but like just us two?" I asked him

David looked at his mom and nod his head at her for her to go and leave us to talk just the two of us. She passed by me and left and then I went up to Davids bed and sat down on the chair next to him where his mom was sitting at.

"I'm sorry for everything david........ I understand if you don't accept my apology and I get that. I won't bother you anymore anyways because I decided to break up with you cause I see that I'm hurting and you almost.........died and................(starts to tear up) i'm really sorry............you know this was a bad idea for me to come I'm a go now" I said as I got up and once I turned david got a hold of my left hand just in time before I left.

"I forgive you....(also starts to tear up) but please don't go.......please don't leave me........I don't want to be alone...........I need you by my side Hayes.........please stay......." David said as he started to cry. I sat back down and I lefted his chin up and wiped the tears off his face carefully and I looked at him in the eye.

"Ill stay and I promise I won't hurt you ever again and I'll be here for you david...... Always" I said as I went up close to him and kissed him in the lips and he kissed back and our lips started to move in sync. Then we paused for a second.

"I love you David......I love you so much" I told him

"I love you to Hayes.......and guess what the doc says I can leave tomorrow" David said

"Really that's good news babe if you want me and Nash can pick you up tomorrow like we will be doing your mom a favor and plus its the least I can do for me putting yo-" I said as David interrupted me

"Stop blaming yourself Hayes okay its all good I'm okay and still alive and plus its in the past so just stop please......for me" David told me

"Alright babe for you I'll stop" I said

"Good now come here so I can kiss you more" David said as he grabbed me by my left arm again and pulled me close to him and he kissed me and I kissed back. We where kissing about a good few hours and in those few hours I got a boner :3.

"Um David I think we should stop I'm actually getting a boner right now babe....." I said as I was blushing and looking at his eyes.

"Haha sorry babe and maybe tomorrow night I can help u  with that" David said and then he bit his lips and I blushed

Then I got a txt from Nash and it said ==> hey Hayes come on its time to go home mom wants us for dinner

"What is it babe?" David asked me

"Its Nash he said that my mom wants us for dinner so this means I have to go babe I'm sorry" I said feeling sad that I'm leaving

"Its okay babe I'll see you tomorrow anyways.....right?" David said

"Right.....you will *kisses on lips* okay bye David see you tomorrow" I said as I was leaving and I here David from behind saying bye back as we.

I went to the waiting room and saw Nash.

"You look happy for someone that just broke up with someone?" Nash said looking at me curious

"Well things turned out a different way haha" I said as I giggled

"So you guys are still together and things are okay between you two right?" Nash asked being confused

"Yes and yes" I said feeling happy

"Cool well let's go home mom is waiting even our dad and sis" Nash said and we both went to his car and got in and went off to home on our drive home I asked Nash for something.

"Um Nash can you do me a favor?" I asked Nash

"Sure bud but it depends what the favor is little bro?" Mask said

"Well the favor is if you can go take me to pick up David tomorrow and leave me and him at his house if its okay?" I asked Nash

"Sure Hayes" Nash said

"Really!? Omg thank you Nash your the best brother ever I love you thanks so much bro" I said with exciment and gave him a hug.

"No problem anything to help you out bro" Nash said and we finally arrived home and we went inside to go eat. I just can't wait to see David tomorrow.
