donut shop chapter 3

Jeonghan's POV

     A continuous noise of dying seals echoed through the doughnut shop, which obviously got my attention. I looked from the counter, only to find the new usual, Junhui also known as Minghao's boyfriend, having a little trouble downing his drink. I chuckled lightly and reverted my attention back to the mini doughnuts I was placing in the glass container. "Seungcheol!", but my glance landed back to Jun, this time focusing on Jun's whole table as I heard a familiar yet obnoxious name. There he was, the fuckboy from yesterday, why did he even have to interact with me like that... I don't even know him and I can definitely tell he was gonna be more of a pain in the future, ugh... All I want is for a simple day and more simple days to come, is that not hard to ask for?

I walked towards a table far away from them that needed cleaning, "I'm actually supposed to come back tomorrow. I'm meeting up with Minghao after his shift and you?", Jisoos, they're so loud, I can here their conversation from a mile away. "Oh right, how's your leg by the way?" fuckboy asked, "it's alright, I can walk now without having to use the crutches and hyung, don't try to avoid the question", Jun pushed. "How are you and Minghao coming along?", I guess these guys are pretty close, it's strange since they're completely different, from what I've seen so far, that is. "It's unbelievably been the greatest year ever, Hao's just a pure blessing", even though I'm not looking at Jun, I could sense a smile settled on his face. Minghao and him were like parabatais, soulmates, I've known Minghao for a quite a while and right after Junhui and him became official, Minghao just got a million times happier, so much that he probably literally past the euphoric stage. It's strange that they aren't the type of couples that where matching outfits.

I walked back to the counter taking off my gloves, as if in sync, Minghao exited from the kitchen, carrying more trays of freshly baked doughnuts. "Here are the ones you asked for hyung", Minghao smiled as I helped him with half the load, then he continued to stack the other baked doughnuts a little further away from where I was, but he was still in talking reach. "Thanks, MingFairy", he pouted at my nickname for him, "hyuuung~ oh um Jun wasn't any trouble, right?", I chuckled at how much he cared for his boyfriend, he'd ask me how Jun did whilst he was away every time Jun would come, I haven't had a crush since who knows how long, so I can't even become relatable.

I delicately arranged the berry doughnuts in place as Minghao got off from kneeling and dusted his apron, looking at me, I nudged my chin forward, directing him towards the two loud boys not too far from the counter. "Well he did have a coughing fit, but you can blame the ass across from him", Minghao giggled at my comment as he took off his apron. "Cheol hyung's actually a pretty nice guy, big ego and all, but he's nice", I looked at him as if he were telling such an obvious lie, "I'm taking that he hit on you or?" I scoffed, "so, he naturally gawks and flirts with people he meets right off the bat?". Minghao's eyes widened a little in surprise, "I was actually just taking a stab at it- well who wouldn't flirt with you Han hyung, look at you", I looked at him as if he grew another head. "Xu. Minghao. You are insane", I shook my head lightly as I used my wrist to push my glasses up to the bridge of my nose, while the other hand occupied the doughnuts I was arranging.

"But seriously hyung, he does flirt with girls, but never guys. He rather they flirt with him. Told you, big ego", Minghao shook his head in dismay as he was ready to hang his apron. So, this Seungcheol guy's trying to make me like him? Shit, like in a million years, jackass. "Oh yeah, Jun's been bragging about you, they're pretty loud", I mentioned to the two who were busy talking. "They're always loud", Minghao chuckled as he already somehow gathered his things from upstairs. "I'll be heading out now, hyung, but if you need any help just call and I'll be there", I smiled at him and nodded at his kind gesture, even though he would always say that before he left, it never got old. We have an employee's room, but Minghao usually helps me take care of Dino after he comes back from school, since Cherri's out of the country. Cherri, she's my adoptive mother, while Dino, also known as Chan, is my son.

"Bye Do hyung!", Minghao yelled softly through the kitchen's window, "Bye, take care, MingFairy!", Doyoung yelled back. No, I did not get anyone pregnant, I am Cherri's adopted son, but Chan is her biological one. Long story short, five years ago, Cherri fell in love with a very powerful businessman, he was nice to Cherri and me, but he was having an affair, he was already married and with a child of his own. I decided I'd be Chan's guardian instead of Cherri herself, even though she takes care of him too- uh let's just say, it was a pretty dramatic past that needs some other time to explain it. Now we're slowly recovering from it, Cherri's off to the U.S to get help from her family and friends, at the moment. We're managing, but Cherri wasn't sure if we could last and she was scared we wouldn't, so she left for a month to get as much help as she could from her relatives and friends in America. I snapped out of my memories, finishing the last of the pastries that needed to be stacked, but as soon as I got back up, I immediately regretted it.

Finallyyyyy, Jeonghan's view about Seungcheol's presence has been outed 👏👏😂😂
So Jeonghan's like a big no-no to Seungcheol's whole ruckus on his life, because it's enough that his past became pretty bumpy (pretty pretty bumpy (anyone know what song I'm causally slipping in lol😂)), now Seungcheol wants to hop in, the angel just wants a normal life, isn't that tooooo much to ask for? 😭😂
And yessss more Junhaoooooooo owww owww oww lol
