donut shop chapter 9

Seungcheol's POV

"Woah...", Taeyong and Johnny let out in unison, looking outside of the window as I parked my car. "Same, I almost choked last time", Jun lightly laughed at his past encounter with seeing me enter the shop and him dramatically dying from his drink. "Oh come on guys, it's a doughnut shop!", I tried to convince my annoying hyungs who were surely going to tease me, is it really that shocking for me, Choi Seungcheol, to associate myself with a doughnut shop? We all got out of the car, "yeah, a tiny looking ass pink pastel pastry shop", Johnny commented, jutting out his hand towards the shop every time he alliterated. Suddenly the tallest stopped his bickering and started walking faster towards the entrance which got all of us quizzically staring at him, "hurry up yah bums!", he waved his long ass arms in front of us as he stood near the door. "Says the person who shit talked the shop a few seconds ago", Taeyong scoffed as we all chuckled, "well I don't hate it now", Johnny hyung emphasized the 'now' part whilst he wiggled his eyebrows. The giant probably saw some girl to hit on, I don't understand how people think we're alike, he's worse.

Jun opened the door for us as we all walked in, I looked towards the counter, only to find a completely different person, even the person serving the tables were unfamiliar to me, no Mingyu, no Doyoung- Minghao! As soon as I spotted him he walked towards us with a smile, we all sat down nearing the counter with the heavenly made doughnuts before our eyes. "Babe~", Jun said as he greeted his boyfriend with a kiss on the lips, "yooo excess PDA ma dudes!", Johnny yelled childishly as he barely covered his face only to peep through his fingers. Taeyong and I laughed as we also greeted Minghao- with a hello! Not a kiss no no definitely not a kiss.

"As it is nice to see familiar faces, I have to head upstairs since the boss needs me", Minghao kissed Jun's cheek then rushed towards the stairs all the way on the other side of the shop. "Oh wait! Oh, fuck!", I quickly apologized to the people around me after slipping out a cuss, I was so amused by their PDA that I forgot to ask him where Jeonghan was... wait that sounded weird, I'm not a pervert.

I was too late since the guy already made it upstairs... Shit! He should really try out for track, "what's wrong?", Junhui asked as he looked at me, while the other two apparently found other people to stare at. "I forgot to ask him where Jeonghan was", I sighed defeatedly without even knowing it, "you're really gonna go for him, huh?", I scoffed with a smirk in the mix, after a whole night of contemplation with my conscience, I honestly just wanted to prove that I could get him wrapped around my finger and I don't even remember or know why I even wanted to anymore, but after seeing his kid smile like the fucking sun, even Jeonghan too- it was just something I couldn't imagine disappearing forever, that kid was my top priority and maybe, just maybe I would still try to get the angel, but properly this time, "you know it".

"Hey Cheol since your treating me, give me your credit card", Taeyong suddenly demanded, eagerly looking at me.

"I'll just go with yo- "

"No no, I can do it, just chill here", Taeyong moved his fingers in front of my face signaling for the card, I look at him weirdly, but still handed it to him. I didn't look at him weirdly because he was gonna steal it, I looked at him weirdly cuz he was acting extra hyper which was pretty strange unless he was eager for something or someone.

"What you guys want?"

"Honeydew boba tea please~", Jun requested, "same", I wasn't really paying too much attention as I was still trying to find the beauty and his son, where could they be?

"Johnny? Hyung? Yo!", I suddenly heard a whaling Taeyong, Jun and I shook Johnny who was barely even on earth with us, "w-what?", he asked but still wasn't looking this way. "Tae hyung asked what you wanted", Jun informed to the lost and still lost Johnny, "just get me whatever you guys are getting." The giant waved his hands signaling us to stop bothering him, Taeyong rolled his eyes as he smoothly approached the counter. I tried looking for Jeonghan again, but Jun taped me rapidly, "look", I turned to what Jun was so amused about, in our line of sight, Tae hyung casually leaned on the counter as if he was never gonna leave. Behind the counter was a guy that kinda gave the same vibe as Minghao. The dude giggled and that's when I realized why Taeyong wanted to go to the counter himself. Looks like Taeyong hyung finally found someone interesting.

"Yah, Jun stop eavesdropping", I nudged him, he looked at me as if I did it too, well... he was doing it more. "Eavesdrop with me", he whisper-yelled leaning on the table, I rolled my eyes as I joined him since the table wasn't too far from the counter we could hear them perfectly.

"My name's pretty long, just call me Ten", the guy said.

"Really? I wouldn't mind, but Ten it is", Taeyong had his flirty voice on and probably his face too.

"So what'd ya like to get, Taeyong-shii?"

"Hmm... Taeyong would definitely like to get Ten's phone number and maybe his heart someday. If that's alright with him?"

Ten chuckled, "he's definitely more than alright with that."

"God, hyung is so cringe-ey", Jun whispered as he sat back properly, probably tired of hearing Taeyong's third-person pick-up lines. "You've been staring at em' since you came in here, hyung. I don't think he'll appreciate you-eye raping em' ", I leaned back too, hearing Jun comment again, once I looked at who Johnny was staring at I gawked, it was one of the unfamiliar waiters. I gawked at the fact that Johnny was checking out a dude, since when did he- "you're right."

Johnny got up, rushing his way towards the guy, just in time to help him steady the plates and cups from a tray that was about to make a U-turn down towards the floor. "I swear Johnny hyung's some kind of expert, their faces are so close!", Jun quietly fangirled, I couldn't say I wasn't, but I contained myself. We automatically eavesdropped at another new-found conversation, "you oughta be careful, we wouldn't want a beauty like you getting hurt, am I right?", Johnny immediately flirted as he took the other tray the guy was holding, he was firetruck red, probably from his almost embarrassing accident, "s-shut up...".

"Is that how you thank someone for helping you", I could feel Johnny using his 'charm' on the guy who was flustered on where to look and what to do at the moment.

"N-no... sorry... I-"

"Hey, it's alright, no worries beauty"

"stop calling me that!"

"Well, then how about you tell me your name since you don't seem to like that nickname"

"Damn right..."

"So...?"

"... my name's Yuta..."

"Well then Yuta, my name's Johnny, your night and shining armor here to help you"

"Y-you already did- thank you, but I got it now"

"Hmmm, so where's the kitchen?", damn, Johnny hyung's just full of it. Yuta slightly pouted but sighed in defeat as he could probably smell the eagerness of the boy, "lead the way, beauty, I mean Yuta~".

"I told you not to call me that!", Yuta whined as they both disappeared into the kitchen. "You think Johnny hyung would take Yuta-shii in the kitchen?", I widened my eyes and looked at Jun with a 'wtf' face, "Hell no! Eyeee I don't even wanna look at those doughnuts anymore...", I shook my head vigorously, my body sending shivers down my spine. "Minghaooo!", Jun yelled suddenly, I looked Jun's way to see Minghao walking towards us. Jun hugged the boy's waist for dear life as if he was gone for twenty long years. "Yah, calm down, I barely left", Minghao chuckled at his boyfriend's silliness... oh, right! "Minghao, do you know where Jeonghan is?", the couple looked at me, "oh right! The reason why I came he- ".

"Wait so you didn't come here for me?", Jun faked a hurt look whilst he shook Minghao through his desperate hug, I rolled my eyes and so did Minghao, he looked at me.

"I came here to tell you to go upstairs".
