Seungcheol's POV

     "Thanks to this nosy little forensic scientist in training, I figured out why your mother ended up in Jeju", Song Ki started, "and that's where I came along. I actually wasn't assigned to this autopsy, well there was never an autopsy until I requested one, which I didn't get so I had to defy some things here and there...", Seungkwan trailed as he sweat dropped. "You really think it's okay to say that in front of a police officer? Wait, that doesn't even matter, what the hell's going on?", I demanded, remembering all the shit that just happened barely an hour ago. "Song Ki sunbae-nim was actually one of the people that helped me defy those things here and there- but your right! That's not the point, listen... I know this might be hard for the both of you and I really hate to make things any more complicated, but you guys deserve to know. Here, read it", Seungkwan told Jeonghan and I as officer Song Ki handed me a crumpled up, bloodstained paper.

'My dear boy, if you ever read this letter, I'm dead. Now don't go on a rampage, listen here and listen well, your father is certainly a man I love, but he's not the same man I fell in love with years ago. Joo Min's going crazy, he's changing, he's dangerous. So please, leave, escape while you can and when you do, report Choi Joo Min. report him for all the crimes he's committed- for killing his father, his brother, me, Vernon, Cherri and possibly more. Don't just get Choi Joo Min, be prepared Seungcheol, protect the one's you love because I promise you they will get hurt. That man's in a mafia, be careful. Always remember that you're my son and I love you.'

Song Ki and Seungkwan explained, explained everything that really happened. Joo Min made one mistake when he was trying to get rid of the evidence, once he shot Cherri, he moved the body without checking her and when Mingyu and Jun asked if they could see the security footage, he demanded to delete it right away without checking it. All the security footage the company acquired was backed up once they were recorded. If Cherri didn't go through the man's thing's, we probably wouldn't have known what really happened, not just to her but to everyone Joo Min killed. Thanks to Cherri I finally knew the truth, but it was infuriating, not just because of all the injustice. Jeonghan just started smiling again, he was happy again and now after everything was fine, after everything was okay, bad news decided to rain down upon us.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful to hear it all, read it all... it just sucked ass at the timing. My mind swirled with all the thoughts, my uncle, my grandpa, they died because of him. My brother, Vernon... I thought he took his own life! I thought he gave up, but Joo Min killed him! How can a father do that to his own son! All this time I thought Vernon was just tired of living, I thought I couldn't do anything to help, but it turned out he didn't mean to die, he didn't ask for any of this. And my mother... all this time I thought, maybe she was somewhere in the world and I could still have a chance to find here, but she wasn't, she wasn't even on the face of this planet anymore. She was gone and I didn't even know it, she was gone because of that bastard, that crazy asshole killed my mother, my brother, my uncle, my grandfather, my mother-in-law...

Thanks to Seungkwan and Song Ki the truth was revealed, the truth about Joo Min's real identity. Seungkwan was probably feeling the same burning hatred I had for that man because now he finally knew what really had happened to his other half. Seungkwan and Vernon had this inseparable bond, they loved each other as much as Jeonghan and I do for god's sakes. After Seungkwan found out about Vernon's death, he was devastated, he couldn't accept the fact that his boyfriend died the way he did, so he moved to Jeju. Jeju was occupied by a very prestigious university and science lab for all types of forensic relations. Seungkwan spilled every ounce he felt as Jeonghan and I could only listen.

All of this was just too quick... was this even real? My head started floating away until Jeonghan laced his fingers with mine. I looked down at him to meet his eyes of concern, I couldn't take all this in mentally, I understood what happened, who got killed, who did it all... but it just didn't emotionally hit me, at least not yet. "I-I just can't believe it... my mother was dead all this time?", I rhetorically asked, but it must have just slipped out of my mouth. "Before we even got informed about Joo Min in your shop, we finally- officially got a green light from the head to commence a raid on the places that Joo Min owned and associated with", Jong Ki spoke out as Seungkwan continued with a light, empathetic chuckle.
