donut shop chapter 13

Jeonghan's POV

     I sighed as Mingyu and I finished wiping down the last few tables, Doyoung came out from the employee's room, "I'll be heading out, bye guys", Doyoung said. "Let me come with you hyung! After all, I promised Jae hyung to keep an eye on you", Doyung chuckled, "aish that guy, I'll wait for you at the bus stop, it comes in fives minutes so hurry". Mingyu jogged to the employee's room, "bye hyung", Doyoung headed for the door, opening it, "alright, be safe!".

"Hey, hyung, I'm gonna head out now", Jihoon stated as he jogged down the stairs, "alright, be safe. Thanks for today, hope they didn't give you any trouble", I chuckled. "Not at all- by the way, your man's a pretty great father", Woozi complemented with a laugh, leaving the shop before I could yell at his sly comment, "yah! Well, I guess... maybe", I shook my head, smiling unconsciously. Mingyu quickly came out the employee's room, jogging towards the door, "bye hyung! Sleep well!", Mingyu smiled, "oh! By the way, remember Wonwoo, my friend that came a few months ago?". The giant stopped in his tracks and turned around, "yeah, how could I forget", I could sense a great mood shift from Mingyu everytime I mentioned Wonwoo. "Wonwoo's coming back from Changwon, he'll be staying for a couple weeks. Can you be his chauffeur again next week?", I asked even though I knew that he wouldn't mind at all. Mingyu's face shun with happiness, "of course I can!- I mean  I'd love to", I chuckled then remember he only had a few minutes before the bus came. "Alright, thanks Gyu, now hurry up before you miss the bus", Mingyu's face changed into a more alerted one, before I knew it he was running out the store, yelling a loud 'bye hyung' once more, "aish this kid".

After locking up the store, I walked into the kitchen grabbing the honeydew bubble tea Seungcheol ordered long ago and a poi doughnut for Dino. Once I headed upstairs, the living room was flooded with a variety of toys, from stuffed toys to toy cars to dinosaurs and other things that made it impossible to walk through the living room area. "Appa!", Dino called out whilst he stood in the middle of the chaos, "look what Cheollie appa got me!", his little hands pointed to the pool of toys along with a huge dinosaur he was holding, I placed the drink and doughnut on the counter, then walked through the sea of toys to kiss Dino's forehead.

"Omo there's so many toys- where's your Cheollie appa?", I said in a wowing manner, then realized there was no Seungcheol to be seen, I wouldn't be surprised if he drowned somewhere. Chan pointed towards the couch, putting finger towards his lips,"shhh, appa's sleeping", little Dino whispered, hugging his new toy to death in his other arm. "You guys must have had a lot of fun, huh? I got you your favorite doughnut, you can eat it, but make sure to brush your teeth afterward, okay?", Chan's face lit up even brighter than before, "yes! Okay promise!", I put on a playfully shocked face, putting a finger in front of my lips, "shhh, remember appa's sleeping". Dino nodded as he made a beeline towards the counter for his favorite poi doughnut, after successfully reaching the sweet, Dino took a jumpy U-turn back into the stepping hazard but found a way to nestle down on all his toys. I grinned at the carefree little tike, after making sure Chan was settled, I headed to the coach where Seungcheol laid tiringly.

There, the handsome man laid, his features shining above the lamp, his light snoring audible, I kneeled near him, placing a kiss on his forehead. "Shit...", I shook my head rapidly after realizing what I had done, it just felt so natural that I didn't even think twice. I sighed and grabbed the spare blanket hanging on the couch, opening it then placing it on Cheol. I looked at him once more, having the urge to rake the hair back away from his face like I always did with Chan, but I stopped myself. I got up, dusting my thighs, then headed for the kitchen to put away the honeydew bubble tea in the fridge. This had to be the longest days so far, I couldn't wait to hit the bed and just sleep everything off, I walked towards my toddler who was just about done with his doughnut, "go brush your teeth so you can sleep already, okay baby?", I leaned down to ruffle the little boy's hair. "Okay Hannie appa", he replied tiredly as he got up, dragging his stuffed dinosaur towards the bathroom. I chuckled at the cuteness, pushing up my glasses, there are so much toys to clean up- AHH! I ruffled my own hair, messing the already messy bun.

After what felt like twenty years of cleaning duty, I entered the bathroom to wash up, my body feeling like it's been laboring since birth. After washing up, I finally entered my room, only to see a wide-awake Dino. He was snuggling his dinosaur and holding his blanket as he stared off into space until he noticed my presence. "Why aren't you asleep yet, Channie?", I softly asked, walking towards him, taking a seat. "Can I sleep with Cheollie appa, I don't want him to be lonely...", little Chan pouted, I couldn't help but smile at my boy's kind little heart. "Alright, but straight to sleep, okay?", he nodded then got off the bed, before leaving the room, Chan turned around to face me,

"let's all sleep together next time, okay?"
