Seungcheol's POV

Renovations to the donut shop were being completed, we have four floors now, two for the café and two for our place, there was a lot of unpacking to do so that's what we've been up to for the past few days, along with that, wedding invitations were being handed out. I stretched my back, groaning as I finished moving the new coach into place with the help of Johnny, "hey hon, can you pass me that box over there", Jeonghan instructed as he pointed to a box filled with documents and other papers right next to me. I grabbed the box, heading to the angel who was busy sorting out books and other papers on the shelves, "here love", I crouched down next to the busy body, placing the box right next to him. "thanks, Cheol", he greeted, this time placing his attention on the new box.

"That's about it", Johnny informed, "thanks Johnny", Jeonghan and I greeted, he nodded with a smile, "now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to bother my Japanese coworker", he walked off, all happy, sounded like he was having fun. "So, we're just about done handing the invitations, right?", I asked Cheonsa, he stayed quiet, looking at a piece of paper, I pursed my lips, tilting my head, trying to meet his face. "Han? Haaanie? ~", he looked up, "not just yet, we're missing one more", he smiled lightly. I raised a brow questioningly, "it's my mom, my biological mom", he spoke out as he held the piece of paper he was looking at towards me. I looked at the paper that had an address written on it.

"Cherri gave this to me when she told me to visit my real mother, I never really got the chance after all the crap that's happened", Jeonghan lightly laughed. "Well you got the chance now, how about we visit her tomorrow?", I asked, looking at the address that I recognized, probably passing by it more than a few times each week. Jeonghan 'hmm'ed an exciting approval, "this place is close to Chan's favorite park", I mentioned giving him back the paper. The angel raised a brow, looking at it again, "you're right, I might have probably even seen her without knowing since she's pretty close by", I couldn't read my angel's face, but as long as he didn't give off a negative vibe, it was alright in a sense.

Footsteps thumped the floorboards causing both of us to turn around, we were met with eomma and Dino who was holding a red balloon, "Cheollie appa! Hannie appa!", Chan's miniature legs rushed towards us, his body crashing in between Han and me. We all laughed, "we're back", eomma informed, her voice happy and peppy. "Look! Nana Ji got me a balloon", Dino voiced out excitingly, sounding more mature than the first ever time I met him, my little boy was growing up and it was honestly scaring the shit out of me, I didn't know how Jeonghan felt about it, but he still seemed happy no matter what. I was just really glad to keep the smile on Chan's face and that promise was still going, there was Jeonghan too and my mom, it made me feel great seeing her play with Dino.

No matter what everyone's background was, no matter what had happened in the past or might happen in the future, it was going to be okay, everyone was happy in their own little world with their own reasons. Sadly, happiness doesn't last long, but sadness doesn't either, this family of mine is just going to enjoy the life we have now, I never thought of settling down, I never thought of actually taking relationships seriously, I really thought I was lying to myself, but the little boy who wanted to so badly see his unrealistic father made me change my mind, I wanted to make sure the little kid grew up a happy life with a mom and dad, or dad and dad, or- you get the point. Along that ride, I ended up falling for his dad who I was actually hitting on in the first place, Jeonghan had a wall built around him, but it seemed as if he'd put it there on purpose to see who'd take it down and free him.

I blinked my eyes a couple of times realizing that I was frolicking through my thoughts when Cheonsa placed a chaste kiss on my lips, I smiled, capturing his lips before he could pull back, "Dino, quick cover those eyes!", eomma childishly yelped, as she rushed toward Dino to cover his eyes. "Wait! Nana you have to cover your eyes too!", Chan giggled as he flailed his arms trying to cover mom's eyes, who was desperately avoiding his hands just to see us kiss. Jeonghan and I laughed at the two, for such a huge age gap, they both acted so similar, "are they done yet? ~", Chan asked, extending the word 'yet' in a sing-songy way, I responded in the same way making Jeonghan, Chan and mom laugh.

"Yes, we're done~"
