Pillow thoughts
Am I always dreaming?
Or am I just a full of mistakes
Life is strange
Why is everyone Strange?
Sea full of strangers
None of them would love me
What if?- T I M E -
"Yes." I smiled with tears in my eyes, as he placed the ring on my wedding finger. He held my hands and kissed it.
"I love you, (Y/N)." He said softly. If only it lasted.
Twenty three years of my life and I think I have it good. I had a handsome fiancé, who has a stable job and I have a loving hamster named Mr Buttons. I've had him for about a few months now, and he still loves me dearly.
It's all great, until you see him at a restaurant eating with another woman. They're looking at each other with love in their eyes, and they're holding hands. She's a beautiful woman, wearing rich brand clothing and seemed like a woman his father would be proud of.
What would you do when you catch the person you loved, since high school cheating on you? Cry it out? Beat them to a pulp? Stay with them? Play it off as just a misunderstanding?
It is true, sometimes you just become frozen and you can't move at all. I know that for a fact, because that's exactly what happened to me.
People always say, everything happens for a reason. It's not always your job to find that reason, but I want to know why. I know it's bad... I just thought I was a good fiancé, was I?
My parents were already disappointed in me planning to get married at such a young age. It's okay, it's my life not theirs.

The party. As most of the time, miserable people such as myself would stick with their friends.
"What an ass! But what I've said before, just lighten up. This is a Hirahara party, so it should be fun." Eui smiled, as she placed on her mask.
The both of us have been friends, since we were in high school and we've always kept in touch. Now, she was working as an event organizer and hosted a few charity events. She has some connections with the Hirahara family, which led to her inviting me to a party of theirs.
Seul was also a high school friend of mine. She works as a makeup artist. She... well she was an interesting friend I would say, as she's kind of out there. She's a big fan of plenty of celebrities, but she is a very caring friend.
"By the way (Y/N), please don't go around interviewing people. I know we've said there would be some celebrities, but this shouldn't be a time for work. It should be a girls night out." Seul frowned.
"But really," She smiled, "Just look around, there might be some respecting guys who want you. Since we're here, we should take our chances to flirt with some celebrities."
"Seul! She just got over her breakup with her fiancé. She needs time, before she starts dating again. She's here to spend time with us."
"Really? Are you going to cry over a guy, who doesn't respect you? Come on, (Y/N). Tonight, you can meet the love of your life." Seul hummed.
"How is going to a party going to make me feel better? I'm not exactly in the right place right now you know."
"Sure, but why did you come here? Yes, to see that hot Hirahara daddy you've been taking about all day." Seul joked.
Those two may act weird at times, but they've always been there for me since high school. Most of the time people drifted away from friends after graduation, but not us and I am grateful for that. I would still be in bed crying and watching soap operas.
The three of us went inside. The interior was beautiful and the main hall was filled. There were men and women dancing and people socializing with glasses of wine in hand. Of course everyone was wearing a mask.
"I think I'm going to catch some air outside, you two can go ahead without me." I smiled a bit. Before I turned and left the two, yet I didn't even know where I was going myself. It was my first time at a big party hall like this one, and it was pretty common too? I am the definition of a middle class person.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Asked a unfamiliar man, as he called out to me. I stopped my tracks and turned to him.
"Just catching my breath, uhm so bye!"
"How old are you? Want to grab a drink at the bar? I really like your hair." He commented. Is this what people call flirting? Seems like a game of questions if you ask me, wait what am I saying? I interview people for a living, but this is just random.
"No, so please ask someone else. I'm not interested, sorry." I slowly backed away from the man, before I bumped into someone else.
Wham!
"Sorry, please excuse me." I apologized. I felt my bun become undone, as my hair fell down my back. I spent an hour trying to make a cute bun.. But right after I left to the deck without looking at the man.
I just wanted some air, not any more problems with men.

The young man stared, as the woman walked off. He was quite handsome, messy orange hair, emerald green eyes, tall, and he was muscular. His friend beside him couldn't help, but chuckle a bit.
"Wow, she's cute." He stated. He was around the same age as him, he was tanned, orange eyes, and brown hair which was tied up in a small ponytail. Unlike his friend, he was seen as somewhat of a delinquent.
The orange haired man stared at the floor, as he picked up the pretty pearl hair pin the woman dropped. She probably needs this, I should find her. He thought, before he turned to his friend.
"Soushi, I'll be back. I need to return this back to her."
"Alright."
