It was autumn. (Y/N) tucked her hair behind her ear. When he walked by, she smiled and pulled his arm, she laughed, "Takane, did you forget you're going to eat lunch with me?"
Takane, he was quite handsome. He had beautiful hazel brown eyes, like milk chocolate. Jet black hair, and a nice smile. He nodded his head, as he tangled his hand with hers and the two walked the school halls together. While the two walked, a familiar cry was heard and someone fell on (Y/N)'s back. Seul sniffed.
"Is something the matter?" (Y/N) turned her head to her friend. Who seemed to be sad at the moment, but Takane simply sighed. He was shy himself, so he was unable to greet his girlfriend's friend.
"I forgot my lunch, can I borrow some won...?"
"Okay, okay." (Y/N) nodded her head. She gave her friend the won, and Takane turned his head to her.
"You're kind as ever."
"Nothing wrong, with helping out a friend."
The couple finally made their way outside, (Y/N) pulled him down to sit beside her on a light wood bench. She opened up her box lunch, which was fried tofu, flounder fish, and some rice. Takane took a bite of his Jjinppang.
"I got accepted into that university I've applied to." Takane stated. (Y/N) stopped and turned her head to him, smiled, "Congratulations! I heard that university has a lot of prestigious families that go there. Then again, you do want to start your own business..."
"Why do you sound sad?"
"I'm sorry" She nodded and turned, then swung back around. "I just remembered. I forgot to ask Seul for the change back." Takane stared back at her, as he wiped a corner of his mouth with a napkin.
"(Y/N)?"
(Y/N) left her boxed lunch behind, as she left him behind and quickly made her way back inside of the school building. The thought of going to university frightened her, and everyone drifting away as well. She knew it was bad to walk out of the conversation with Takane, but her emotions were going all over the place. Then again, this was also another issue. She was never one to handle those emotions well, but she found walking by herself to soothe herself. Suddenly, she stopped herself. Not here. With that, she continued on her walk around the halls.
"Dummy, dummy!" She finally sat herself down on one of the steps of the stairs. She rested her chin on the palm of her hand. "Mom and dad are not going to be happy when they find out where I'm going..." She closed her eyes. Her parents, they were strict and always pushed her to be the perfect daughter. Her friends were all heading in the right direction. Eui was planning on becoming an event planner. Seul planned on launching her makeup career, she already had classmates asking her to do their makeup for parties. (Y/N) often compared herself to her friends, and viewed herself as the dork.
Ever since she was a child, she found herself drawn to romance novels. In the eyes of her parents, it was nothing more than a dream. During her elementary school days, not one of her classmates would speak or even acknowledge her whenever she sat by them. Romance novels, they always made her feel at home, away from it all. Even if she dreamed about it- she could not possibly make a career out of it. Along with reading novels, she always had a passion for baking. Similar to romance novels, she could not make a suitable job out of it in the eyes of those around her. She escaped into those two hobbies, reading and baking. Something cold pressed against her head, and the young girl looked up. Her eyes met with his hazel eyes. Takane rested a boxed milk tea against her head.
"I'm sorry..." (Y/N) apologized.
"You don't have to, let's go back outside and enjoy our lunch together?"
"I would love that."

(Y/N) walked with her umbrella out, as a drizzle of rain began to fall. She hummed to herself, as she passed by a park. She noticed someone there- a boy. He was a few years younger than her, and he just sat on a bench. As he looked up at the grey clouds. She grew concern, as she wandered over to him.
"Excuse me, but why are you sitting here out in the rain?"
"..." The boy seemed as though he didn't hear her, so she shifted her umbrella more and he was right under it. He slowly sat up and looked back at her, she quickly noticed his eyes. They were emerald green, along with his orange hair.
"Again, why are you here? You know that you can easily catch a cold." (Y/N) pointed out. The boy frowned, as he shook his head. "What's the point?"
"Well, for certain I'm sure your health means a lot and you need to get out of the rain."
"It's not like anyone will care."
"Well I care, and I'm sure others do as well."
"(Y/N)!" Takane called out.
He made his way over, as he sighed out. "Why did you walk out without me? Who's this?" He looked at the boy up and down. (Y/N) simply handed the boy her umbrella and smiled.
"Please go home." She went to her boyfriend's side and went under his umbrella.
The boy watched the two older teens go, as he held onto the umbrella he received. He still felt lost, but at the same time gained the strength to get off the bench. He sneezed, as he looked off to the side. "Nana, must be worried.." With that the boy left.
