Days passed, since (Y/N) and Yeong-gi last saw one another. It seemed as though they were both buried under their work. (Y/N) understood that he was still a student, but at the same time worked for his family's company. She wondered how he was doing, but found herself unable to send him a text. Her work was not too easy on her as well, as her boss often scolded her over the smallest details and like before- she found her mind to wander off. Even with a stable job, a nice apartment, a wonderful hamster, and good friends- she still felt as though she was missing something.

"From the moment I realized my feelings for Yeong-gi," (Y/N) said out loud to herself. "Everything has been hard, I can't even talk to him and I feel horrible for feeling the way I do."

At first, I thought Yeong-gi was someone who only needed a friend. He was silly, he often tried his best to make me laugh and keep me company. From the start, I knew that nothing beyond a friendship would transfire between us. Why do I continue to feel as though something will come between us? I already gave up on love. Why do people have to be so selfish? The possibility of holding onto someone feels difficult. It is of that trying to chase after a falling star. (Y/N) thought.

"Do I have to repeat myself again?" Mr Whang furrowed his eyebrows. "(Y/N), lately your work has not been at its best potential. Please, take better of you and your work."

(Y/N) nodded. "Yes, I will try my hardest."

She buried herself in finding some inspiration for a new article. She thought about it again and again, what would Eui and Seul have in mind? What would Yeong-gi have in mind? She felt her head grow light, as she thought about him again. She is a woman, why now does she react so childish? It was a simple crush... nothing more, nothing less.

(Y/N) pulled herself from off her desk, and left the office to find something to make an article on. Outside of her office, she stopped her tracks as she saw them. It was her parents, and her mother had a stern look on her face. (Y/N) felt worse seeing her parents there, since their relationship was strained. She rubbed the back of her neck, as her eyes met with theirs.

"You haven't been picking up your phone," Her mother smiled weakly. "We've been worried about you."

(Y/N) forced a smile. "I am doing well, I don't need any help or anything whatsoever." Her voice was soft, but even with her forced smile- it could not hide the tint of sadness in her eyes. Despite how strict and careless her parents can come off as- they still held a great concern for their daughter. He looked away, as he avoided any eye contact. Her mother elbowed him, and he sighed out.

"I don't care how old you are, there is nothing wrong with us worrying after you," He sighed. "We should have dinner back at-"

Her father was cut off, as (Y/N) hugged her parents. Tears formed from the corner of her eyes and she laughed. "Ah... I don't know what I would do without my parents." She continued to laugh, but cry at the same time. Her parents were relieved to see their daughter once more, so from there she would go back to her parents' apartment.

She smiled, as her mother made sundubu-jjigae which was a nice tofu stew. It had her favorite seafood, such as fish balls and shrimp. The moment she took a bite of the tofu, the soft tofu made her happy along with the spice of the soup. It was comforting, and the food was common during the cold times like- the winter time. Again, she felt at home and ate as she listened to her parents' conversation. It was mainly about other family members such as: which cousins had a baby, jobs they had, and an upcoming wedding. (Y/N) took joy in listening, as it reminded her how well others were doing in her family.

"(Y/N), are you going to your cousin Dae's wedding? I think it would be a good chance to meet someone." She teased.

Her father scoffed. "She should be there to enjoy herself. Also stay away from any potential people, I do not want you getting hurt again."

(Y/N) nodded. "I might invite either Seul or Eui to come with me."

As time went on with dinner, (Y/N) reminisced in the times where she did still live at home. Her father usually helped her mother with washing the dishes, and cutting the vegetables. Meanwhile, her mother did the main cooking, and of course (Y/N) sat nearby talking to her parents. Time... time was very interesting. It seemed to either be too slow or too fast. The times she spent with her parents, most of them were fond. Of course there were times they argued and disagreed on some situations, but eventually they made it up.

After dinner, (Y/N) and her father were in the kitchen. Her father was washing plates, while she cleaned the kitchen counters. Her mother on the other hand, she hummed and had the radio on. As she was looking through the mail at the dining table. In the littlest things such as those, it would make anyone happy. (Y/N) couldn't help, but smile. She placed the cleaning spray and kitchen towel away.

"Has there anything been going on with you?" Her father asked.

"Mainly trying to spend time with Seul, Eui, and Yeong-gi.."

"Yeong-gi?" He blinked. "Who is he? I don't believe your mother and I met this friend before. Are they a coworker from work?"

"He is only a friend of mine." She snorted.

The more she thought about him, the more she wondered about other sides of him. When he was around, he was always in a happy mood. He had a smile plastered on his face, and always listened to her. Yet along the way, she wanted to see more of him. Sometimes the smile on his face, it was difficult to see if it was genuine or fake. The times he called her at night when she was unable to sleep, it made her feel in love all over again.

Her phone began to buzz, she wandered over thinking it was either Seul or Eui. To her surprise, it was not either of those two; it was an unknown number.  She was hesitant, but without a thought she answered it. "Hello?" She asked softly.

"This is (Y/N) (L/N), correct?" It was a woman's voice.

"Yes that is me, may I ask who you are?"

"Yui Hirahara, my son has spoken about you a few times. You have a lovely voice, but I called you to help you with work. You do interviews?"

"Yes I do! For my magazine company..."

"Great, tomorrow evening we can meet."

(Y/N) wrote down the details of the interview, before she hung up. Maybe now times were not going to be hard. Finally, she would have another successful interview as she knew she must have connections to other celebrities or connections to anything interesting. Then again- did Kousuke or Yeong-gi talk about her? As she recalled, Kousuke wanted her to stay away from Yeong-gi... Still she brushed things aside, and went to get ready for bed.
