Amid the lively atmosphere of the party, (Y/N) found herself in a chance encounter with her friend Eui. Eui's friendly smile was a welcome sight amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces and the pulsating music.

"Hey, (Y/N). It feels like it's been so long" Eui pointed out, offering a warm hug. "Want to get away from all this chaos and grab a drink at the bar?"

(Y/N) readily agreed, feeling grateful for a moment of respite from the festivities. They found a quiet corner at the bar, away from the dancing and the boisterous chatter. With glasses of wine in hand, they settled into a more private conversation.

As they sipped their drinks, Eui sensed that something was on (Y/N)'s mind. She tilted her head curiously and asked, "You seem a bit preoccupied, (Y/N). Everything okay?"

(Y/N) hesitated for a moment, her gaze saddened. "Eui, you know, I've been spending a lot of time with Nol lately, and I can't help but feel like... something more than just being friends."

Eui listened attentively, her expression empathetic. "And is that a bad thing?"

(Y/N) sighed, her fingers tracing the rim of her wine glass. "It's not that it's bad, but I'm scared. I'm scared that if I spend more time with him, I'll fall for him even harder. And I don't know how to approach the subject with him."

Eui leaned in closer, her voice filled with understanding. "It's natural to be cautious about matters of the heart, (Y/N). But sometimes, you have to take that leap of faith. Life is too short to hold back your feelings."

(Y/N) nodded, her heart heavy with uncertainty. "I just don't want to ruin our friendship, Eui. I value what we have so much."

Eui placed a reassuring hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder. "Just remember, (Y/N), honesty is the foundation of any strong relationship, whether it's friendship or something more. Talk to him. You might be surprised by what he has to say. He is part of the Hirahara family right? Maybe his relationship with Alyssa is purely for business and nothing romantical."

Eui sighed. "I sound more like Seul now.."

As (Y/N) contemplated Eui's words, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. Perhaps it was time to confront her feelings and have that honest conversation with Nol, no matter where it might lead. In that quiet corner of the bar, she found solace in Eui's friendship and the strength to face the uncertain path that lay ahead.

In the midst of the Kims' black and white formal, Nol stood with his girlfriend, Alyssa Cho. The music, laughter, and chandelier lights painted a scene of opulence, but Nol's thoughts remained preoccupied, his mind a box of emotions and questions.

As he glanced around the room, his eyes caught a fleeting glimpse of (Y/N) from across the hall. Her presence was like a magnetic force, drawing his gaze and attention away from everything else. It was a struggle to concentrate on anything else while she lingered on his thoughts.

With a heavy sigh, Nol turned to Alyssa, his voice tinged with a sense of urgency. "Alyssa, can we talk alone for a moment?"

Alyssa, who had been engaged in conversation with some friends, looked at him with a curious yet understanding expression. "Of course. Let's step outside for a bit."

As Nol and Alyssa moved towards the patio, (Y/N) observed them from a distance, a mixture of emotions playing across her features. She couldn't help but feel a pang of longing, a reminder of the complex emotions that had entwined her with Nol.

Meanwhile, (Y/N) retreated to the side of the room, needing a moment to collect her thoughts. Her solitude, however, was short-lived as an unexpected figure approached. Takane, her ex-fiancé, stood before her, his surprise evident in his eyes.
