"You should just ignore him, (Y/N)."

"I'm sure I'll ignore Kousuke. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who would enjoy conversation with another person."

Yeong-gi turned his gaze away from (Y/N). Why does he always have to stick his head into my life now?

"Hello." A familiar head stuck between the two and Yeong-gi screamed.

"Ah you're the young man from the party!" (Y/N) smiled.

"My name is Soushi." The shoulder length brown hair man smiled.

Yeong-gi placed a hand against his chest and sighed, as he stopped walking before he turned his attention towards his friend.

"Seriously did you have to just do that? You could had just greeted us." Yeong-gi gasped. Soushi grinned and slapped his back.

"What's the fun in that?"

"What brings you out here? Are you going to the mall too?" (Y/N) asked softly.

"Yeah, I'm supposed to meet up with another friend. A certain somebody was supposed to go, but I guess he was busy with someone else."

"I just wanted a relaxed day." Yeong-gi sighed. He ran his hand through his hair, before Soushi nudged him.

"Yeah, so you decide to go out with her?"

"Oh I'm sorry if I was in the way of your plans." (Y/N) laughed a bit. She shook her head and she continued, "He can come with you to meet up with your friend. I do have to pick something up, so I don't mind."

"Wait-"

"Let's go! We can watch that horror movie with that creepy neighbor and all." Soushi began to pull his friend behind him, while Yeong-gi kept his eyes back on (Y/N).

"I'm sorry about him, we can meet up another time." Yeong-gi smiled back at her. She nodded her head and waved the two goodbye. Her hand slowly fell down back to her side and her smile faded from her face.

"Yeah, so you decide to go out with her?" The words played back in her mind and she turned and continued to walk her way to the train station. Am I really that bothersome? Who am I to get in the way of his friends and be prioritized like that?

It was later that day, it was my friend Seul's birthday and we went out drinking to celebrate. The grill sizzled, the table was full of side dishes such as broccoli, kimchi, and pickled relish. Metal chopsticks  in hands, laughter filled the room, glasses of beer, and the sweet smell of pork filled the air.

"(Y/N)!" Seul wrapped her arms around her friend, as she leaned against her. Her cheeks were red, her breath smelt of alcohol, and it was clear as water that she was drunk. (Y/N) just sat there and placed the slice of bacon into her mouth, as she began to chew on it.

"I told you that we shouldn't had gave that girl beer. She always drinks too much and now I have to drive her home." Eui rolled her eyes.

"It's her birthday, so it should be fine." (Y/N) smiled.

"You should drink too, (Y/N). Loosen up, you're always doing the same routine of work and then going straight home." Seul poured her a glass of beer. (Y/N) stared at the glass for a few seconds and soon took it, as she turned her face away.

"Alright, since it is a girl's night out. I don't see a problem with it."

"Go treat yourself!"

The cold bitter taste of beer went down her throat and she felt more energized. Something she hasn't felt often, because of her gloomy days and she felt like she was reaching a high point. Still, she knew she had to keep her alcohol low as she did not want to go home drunk.

Her phone began to ring and she looked at the caller ID, it was Yeong-gi. A smile crossed her face, as she got up and excused herself before she left outside.

"Hey Yeong-gi, do you need something?"

"Nah, I just wanted to talk since I was feeling a little bored."

"How was your hangout at the mall with your friends?"

"It was fun! We bought my friend some boxers, and I got a new pair of pants."

"Sounds like fun, it reminds me of how I need to buy new clothes. I just don't know what to buy though. Lately, I've been feeling kind of sluggish and just wearing hoodies."

"I think your hoodies look nice on you."

"Thanks, Yeong-gi." (Y/N) felt her cheeks heat up and her smile still stayed on her face. She felt that same feeling she once had before with her past fiancé. The feeling of just wanting to talk to someone for hours, someone who you can talk about anything to, just someone special.... but why him?

"Isn't that (Y/N)?" Soushi tilted his head to the side, as he stopped Yeong-gi from walking. Their German friend stopped as well and he looked at the direction Soushi stared back at.

"Wow, you guys do have a lot of friends... an older one too." He sighed out. Yeong-gi smiled, as he patted his back and gave him a reassuring smile.

"It's better to have closer friends than many friends, Dieter."

(Y/N) stumbled, as she found balance onto a bench and she plopped down. She was a bit tipsy, but not entirely drunk. Her head was fuzzy and she just had a bit trouble in speaking clearly or talking any sense.

"She looks out of it, I think I'll help her out. I'll catch you two later." Yeong-gi smiled back at his two friends and he jogged over to (Y/N).

"Hey can you walk?" Yeong-gi asked.

"Yeong-gi." Her eyes widened. She stared back at him, as she was unable to say much to him. She felt her cheeks flare up from embarrassment, because of the state she was in and how he witnessed her like this.

She tried to stand up, but her legs refused to and she fell back into the bench. Yeong-gi's eyes stayed locked on her, as he watched her and he then came to a conclusion.

"It's fine, I can help you home." He turned his back to her and bent down, which was a signal for her to get on his back and he would give her a piggy back ride. (Y/N) shifted and went on his back, as he soon stood up and began walking.

"Why do you always bump into me..." (Y/N) mumbled. She rested her chin on his shoulder.

"I ate at a restaurant around the area, but you should make sure you have a ride after drinking a lot." Yeong-gi chuckled a bit.

"You... you did not eat out with your girlfriend?"

"No, actually I was out with my two friends. Alyssa has a lot on her plate right now."

"Oh, like what?"

"Well she just made her debut, so she has plenty of interviews and shoots to do... you know? That's the life of having an idol girlfriend." Yeong-gi chuckled a bit.

"So what?" (Y/N) puffed, "She can still see you, it's not her life twenty four seven."

"Yeah, I guess so." Yeong-gi continued to walk. It was silent for the next few minutes and it seemed like (Y/N) fallen asleep. Yeong-gi felt a bit relieved for finding her, because he knew how scary the world could be to women especially at night. A woman who is not in the right state of mind after a night of drinking alone, oh was that an easy target for any men looking for a quick thrill.

He continued to look forward. The sounds of passing cars was heard, some people chattering from leaving restaurants and such. A moment of dread passed him and he felt himself- longing for this walk not to end. Maybe it was because of how he was away from his room, alone and to drift off to think profoundly about his life. Maybe it could had been the peaceful expression (Y/N) wore while she slept away. Just for that moment, he wished that the road was longer.
