"Lately my brother has been skipping out on his schedule and I feel as though he as been ghosting me lately." Kousuke began to cut his crepe, while his eyes watched (Y/N).

No wonder he's been ghosting you. Maybe if you were less salty and all, maybe he wouldn't have a problem with you. (Y/N) pondered.

"Well he is a young adult, so maybe he's just trying to enjoy his youth?" She suggested. She felt like an old lady at the moment, since she referred to his youth and despite only being twenty three- she felt so old when it came around people who were under the age of twenty.

"Still, he has his duties to perform. I hope you aren't one of the main roots to his new behavior."

"Of course not, I only hang out with him whenever I have a break or I'm off from work. I do have a full time job after all." She laughed nervously, before she glanced away from him. She felt awkward, since Kousuke was watching her intense as if he was a mama bird watching her little chicks.

Kousuke sighed, his arms crossed, and he looked away as well. He didn't feel the most comfortable with her either, because in his eyes- he saw her as just a reporter who was just so invested into spilling the tea. At the same time, he did find her odd as to why Yeong-gi spent so much time with this woman whom was five years older than him. Then again, he was always a great distance away from him and he did not understand him that well.

"Why is everything okay with him besides that? I don't see a problem in it at all, he's just enjoying himself before he heads off to college. Then again, exams are coming up soon as well so maybe he might be studying with his friends?"

Kousuke shrugged, as he continued to eat his crepes in silence. (Y/N) took this as the caution to just keep her mouth shut, because nothing would come out of it.

The whip cream was a soft embrace to her mouth and the chocolate syrup reminded her of a nice hot summer day with a sundae. She loved the summer and longed for it to come back.  The fall- she did not enjoy it at all. Perhaps it was due to all the events that spiraled all over the place.

Her thoughts drifted and she began to eat her food in a much more slower pace, like a sloth moving place to place. Kousuke he noticed the sudden change in her behavior and despite being a bit wary of her- he did not want to just ignore her completely.

"Is something the matter, Miss (L/N)?"

"Huh?" She lifted her head up. She noticed the look of concern on his face, before he raised an eyebrow at her. It seemed as thought he expected for her to respond and she was a bit hesitant, but she gave him a short smile.

"Mr Hirahara, I'm well. I just feel a bit sick. I did have a heavy breakfast after all."

After parting ways, (Y/N) was back at her apartment and she placed her keys on her key hook. She was greeted at the door by no one and she slipped her shoes off, as she went straight to her sofa. She plopped down on the white cushion, as her hand traveled into the pocket of her jacket and she pulled out her phone. She stared at the lock screen for a few moments, before she opened her phone and began to browse through her social media.

The image of her former classmate showed herself in Paris. "I hope I meet my true love at the Eiffel." (Y/N) smiled sadly at the photo, as she continued to scroll through her front page. Another image showed, except it was her friend. She was wearing a lab coat and goggles. She couldn't help, but sigh. She felt envious of those around her, as she felt inferior to them. Since she wasn't satisfied with how much she really made of herself.

"Whatever." She sat up and stretched her arms. At least with a job, she knew that her life was stable and she was able to take care of herself. Still, the feeling of loneliness always crept into her mind and she felt so disconnected from the world.

(Y/N) shook her head, as she threw her fist up in the air. Maybe I should just try dating again! A little dating wouldn't hurt me at all. She thought. She began to feel better about herself, for she knew if she didn't do anything at all- nothing would change. Although, reality hit her and she stared at the wall of her living room. How exactly would she find a date?

Seul, her good friend had connections. She was fairly sociable and knew the right people. Nevertheless, (Y/N) felt conflicted about asking her if she knew any guys who were willing to go out on a date. Did she want to appear desperate for companionship? Not really, but she brushed that feeling aside and would text her.

"Hey do you know any guys willing to go out on a date?" (Y/N) asked.

"Of course who do you take me for? How does a double date sound?"

"Sounds fine with me."

Author's note

Thank you for all the support and patience my lovely readers. I apologize for the shorter chapter, but I promise that I'll try to update more frequently. I started reading I Love Yoo again and I've been having more time to plan out the story.

A star and comment would be most appreciated!
