(Y/N) was going to politely decline the man's offer, before a hand rested upon her shoulder and she turned her head to see who was touching her. There stood the tall young man she's been talking to lately, which was none other than Yeong-gi. He was wearing a yellow hoodie and had that usual smile on his face.
"She's got other plans." Yeong-gi stated. With that he would pull (Y/N) along with him to the closest store. He sighed and turned his head to her.
"You should really be careful, especially since you're a pretty cute woman."
"Pretty cute? I was expecting you to say something, like beautiful or what not." (Y/N) giggled. She found it odd that he would say something like that, since he had a girlfriend after all.
"Nothing is more beautiful than a caring woman."
"What do you mean by caring?"
"I've read a few of your articles... on culture. It has a soft style to it, though I don't think I would really make a good topic for an article." Yeong-gi laughed.
"Yeah, but my work wanted me to stop writing about them. Since nowadays, the youth is more interested in drama and celebrities. Which isn't really my style when I think about it."
"If you aren't happy with it, why don't you go work, for another company?"
"The thing is... it's hard getting a job." (Y/N) smiled sadly, as she turned her head to the window while rain drops continued to fall.
"Everywhere always expect so much from someone, which is very challenging at times. I consider myself lucky for landing this job." She looked at some stream buns, but it landed upon Sunbaek Uyu. It was a steam bun with custard, yet her eyes also wandered over to the steam bun with pork.
Shoot, what should I get? I want something sweet... but at the same time I want something savory. I should had brought more money with me. I shouldn't use my card, it can become an addiction. (Y/N) pondered.
Yeong-gi noticed her stare upon the two buns, and a smile went across his face.
"Excuse me, can we get that and that one please?" He asked softly to the girl behind the cash register. She blushed and nodded her head, before she grabbed both of the buns and placed them in paper wraps. He paid for the two and walked over to the dining area or well- the place which people would eat their instant ramen and all. He sat down and ripped both of the buns in half.
(Y/N) was still confused, but she just followed after him. She stared at him.
"What are you doing?"
"You wanted both, so why don't we share? You can have half with custard and the other half with pork. It's a good combination and everyone is happy." He laughed.
She took the two other buns from him and smiled. She found the idea of this adorable, but smart at the same time. With their food in hand, the two ate and had some small talk them eventually it came the time they would finish.
"It was nice bumping into you again, Yeong-gi. It's a little strange though, that it always happens between us. In a way... it's a little like fate." (Y/N) snorted.
He stared at her for a brief moment, before nodding his head in agreement.
"Yes it is, but are you fine walking in the rain by yourself?"
"Yes I am, I can handle myself."
"Maybe not against the rain." He handed her his umbrella, but she was quick to hand it back to him.
"No, no! It's fine. You already bought me the buns and I don't want to take advantage of your kindness."
"Don't worry, my car is parked by and I can just run to it. Besides, you're always suppose to care about the well being of your friends."
