"(Y/N) listen please. That date of yours is no good. Leave and meet me outside. Make sure that guy does not follow you either." Yeong-gi stated.
(Y/N) was still at a loss of words, but she had a feeling that Yeong-gi was telling the truth. By the sound of his voice and it worried her.
"Shall we go now?" Jinho asked. The smile on his face made her feel a bit uneasy, since she was not sure how to act around him. Jinho noticed her shiver a bit and he threw his jacket over her shoulders.
"I know a great shop that's just around the area. The dresses look nice, so we should go-"
"It's late, isn't it?" (Y/N) interrupted.
"What do you mean?" Jinho blinked.
"I'm sorry, Jinho. I just think I'm not interested."
(Y/N) took off his jacket and handed it back to him. She turned her back to him, before leaving the restaurant. Jinho's eyebrows furrowed and he picked up his jacket. The man was not used to rejection, so this ticked him off and he followed after the woman. Footsteps were heard behind (Y/N) and she turned her head. Only to see the pestered Jinhoo, as he cornered her.
"I've been nice all evening, and the food wasn't cheap you know."
"Well I suggested that I could pay for my own bill, but you took it upon yourself to pay."
"What did I do wrong?"
"Why do I owe you anything?"
The door of the restaurant swung open, and a tablecloth was thrown over (Y/N)'s head. Both (Y/N) and Jinhoo were confused at the moment, but (Y/N) was pulled away and a pair of arms was around it.
"What the hell?!"
"I'm really sorry!" Yeong-gi apologized.
As the two dashed through the crowded street, while Jinho stood there in defeat. He knew he could not catch up to them at all, but he noticed something had fallen from the boy's pocket. He reached down to grab it, and that was Yeong-gi's school ID. Jinho stuffed the ID into his pocket, turning his head towards the direction from which the two fled."Why are you dragging me? I can handle myself!"
Yeong-gi pulled her into the alley between two shops. He rested his hands against the wall, as (Y/N) was locked in front of him. The two were out of breath. (Y/N) felt her heart racing, as she looked up at Yeong-gi. Her hair was a tangled mess, sweat ran down the side of her face, and she looked tired. At the same time, her eyes still glimmered back into his emerald eyes and she looked off to the side. Her eyelashes fluttered, her lips pink and she was nearly pressured up against him. Yeong-gi finally realized how close up he was to her, and his cheeks turned red. He turned away from her, so she would have space to move around.
"I'm sorry."
- T I M E -Once again, the woman found herself stuck in her thoughts in bed. The blind date felt like a blur, but Yeong-gi was on her mind. She was glad that he overheard her date about how he already had a girlfriend. Still, the whole encounter made her wary of going back into the dating scene again. Her fiance cheated on her. She knew that she should not label that as all men, but still she was wary of them. The feeling of loneliness crept upon her back. The image of her ex fiance and his mistress always remained glued to her memory. Then again, who was he? Who gave him the right to walk all over her? The more she thought about it, the more she began to feel somewhat better about her situation.
Her phone alerted her that she had a notification. She raced to grab her phone, but it was only her coworker asking her to work on her newest article. (Y/N) sighed to herself. Doing some writing wouldn't do her any harm. She pulled her laptop out and would walk over to her desk. She took the hair tie from her wrist and would tie her hair up into a high ponytail and would slap on a facemask, before going into work.
Some hours passed, the sun was down and it was night. (Y/N) closed her laptop with a slight smile. She stretched her arms and knew it was time for her to have some time to practice some self care. She rested her hand against her chest. Thump, thump.. That feeling overcame her once more and the thought of checking in on Yeong-gi came into her mind.
Just because he helped me out from one bad date does not mean I can start thinking about him all the time. Besides, the action he did to help me out was what any friend can do. Why am I acting as though I'm a high school student again? Yeong-gi is just nice to everyone. He is still growing. He is in a relationship. I should not even consider having the slight idea of having some small crush on him.
- T I M E -
Yeong-gi felt sick to his stomach. His head was pounding and he took some medication, before he drank some water. His Nana stepped into the kitchen, as she had a worried look on her face. Yeong-gi noticed her and smiled, as he washed his cup and he did not want to stress her out.
"I just had a long day, that's all."
Yeong-gi went straight to his room. He felt bad for leaving Dieter and Soushi earlier that day. He did not know what overcame him to even think about spying on (Y/N)'s date. That guy still got on his nerves, and he was just glad to get him out of (Y/N)'s hair. He knew about her past relationship-- How her fiance cheated on her. Still, he couldn't stop thinking about why he wanted to impress her so badly. He thought of her as a friend yes, but he couldn't recall the last time he talked to someone for that long. He rolled to his side in bed and clung onto his phone. He rested his hand against his chest. He still felt how close he was to (Y/N) and how he could feel her breathing against him. The scent of her still lingered.
"Oh no..." He mumbled to himself.
Author's note: I wanted to wrap up the little date and at the same time- I did write this during class. It was a little change for me to see how much I can write in 100 minutes. Also I wanted to get something out for Valentine's Day! Thank you for reading and if you want more, please comment and leave a star!
