"Hey I'm nearby your work, do you want to grab lunch with me during your break?" -Eui.

(Y/N) and Eui went to a small Japanese restaurant. Seul got herself Chirashi-don a nice rice bowl with fish, while (Y/N) got curry rice with a nice side of tart. Of course Seul took out her phone and took a picture of the both of them, before putting it on her social media.

"You should consider how his girlfriend feels." Seul stated, as she took a bite of her shrimp tempura. (Y/N) looked up at her from her rice curry.

"What do you mean by that?"

"From what you've been saying in the group chat lately, you two sounded pretty close. I'm sure it would bother his girlfriend, because who wouldn't be bothered if their partner spent more time with someone like going out to eat? To me, it's a date."

"Well it wasn't, just two friends hanging out."

"But anyone can misinterpret that. There's also the bigger problem of any reporters catching the both of you. You know how the media loves to feed on those kinds of things. You want a private life yes?"

(Y/N) fell silent, as she was unable to answer that question.

What is the border of just being friends to being potential partners? I'm thinking why must I think of this way? If we were around the same age, would I find our friendship more normal? If he was single, how would things be different? This is like high school all over again. (Y/N) pondered.

"Anyhow, you said you wanted to do some extra work on the side right? I heard that they need some people at the Hirahara hospital."

"Really? Wait a minute, I know nothing about doing surgery and all."

Eui shook her head.

"It's a simple job. All you do is sit down and carry new born babies, while their mother is gone. Isn't that an easy job? Besides, new born babies always smell good so that's a plus and they're really adorable." She grinned.

"Alright I'll try it out, maybe I'll go next Sunday since it's my day off." (Y/N) forced herself to smile.

I couldn't find myself to finish the food, the subject of Yeong-gi was glued to my mind. Whenever I feel confused, I just want to stuff my mouth with some pastries. Sadly, I have to save up my next paychecks if I want to fly myself to Italy. She thought, while making her way back to work.

"Seriously though, you don't look too good." A coworker of hers stated, while she leaned over her desk. She noticed how slow and off she seemed ever, since she came back from her lunch break.

"Maybe I should just go to the restroom and freshen myself up." (Y/N) sighed. Before she made her way out of the office to the women's restroom. She locked herself in a stall and stared down at her lap.

I can't have a crush on a kid who has a girlfriend? It's not right, I would never become a someone who targets people that are already in relationships. Not like her, not like how that woman stole my fiancé. I would never become her. I can't get that low.

"Yeong-gi..." She whispered. While going to her contacts on her phone and she clicked the call button. There was the usual buzz sound, as it tried to reach out to him. Soon enough- click.

"Hey what's up?" Yeong-gi asked softly.

"Just making sure you're okay."

"I'm fine, though did something happen with you?"

"No, not really. I just have some things in my mind, like why I'm so selfish." She tilted her head to the side. Yeong-gi stayed quiet for a few moments, before he spoke again.

"I'm all for ears, it's not like I'm doing anything. You can tell a friend, right?"

"I guess... uh why would you be friends with someone like me?" (Y/N) asked nervously.

I've only been thinking about myself. I haven't thought of what his girlfriend would think. (Y/N) thought.

"I think you're pretty cool to be around. There isn't much adults that would ever talk to me, either they talk to me as if I'm a child or I'm not even there. It's sometimes irritating." Yeong-gi scratched his cheek and hugged his pillow. His breathing was heard through the phone, and (Y/N) blushed at the sound of it.

"You sure are a strange guy. Most people run whenever I mention that I work as an editor for a magazine company, since people consider it a boring or not a really notable job."

"Well I for one don't think it's boring at all."

(Y/N) couldn't help, but laugh at that.

"You're kidding."

"I'm being serious. I'll admit, the work my family does is SO boring. I nearly fall asleep whenever I'm at the office."

"If you say so..."

"Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"Not at all, I just don't want to be here at work."

"Are you feeling sick? You should talk to your boss then. There's nothing wrong with taking a break every once in a while. Maybe after work you should watch some shows."

"I am watching this one about this one about a doctor and a soldier-"

"No, no no. You need to watch the cooking shows. It's all about that. Have you seen some of the dishes that the people cook?"

"The one with the British guy? He seems cool, but I feel like you also like watching people eat in front of the camera too." (Y/N) joked.

"Hey, Hey! There's nothing wrong with watching them. The crunchy sounds are always the best."

"Uh no it's all about the pastries."

Knock, knock.

"You've been in there for five minutes! The boss is asking where you are. Please don't tell me you're eating in the restroom stall again, you just had your lunch break (Y/N)!"

"You don't have to expose me, Choi!"

"Just get out of there already!"

"Eating in the restroom stall? And you call me weird...?" Yeong-gi snickered. While he listened to the exchange between (Y/N) and her coworker.

"I'm sorry about that, I'll talk to you later. Bye!" With that she hung up.

Yeong-gi's smile soon faded away, as he tossed his phone aside once more and he sat up.

"Anyways, Who were you talking to in the stall anyways? It sure sounded like an interesting conversation between the both of you, considering you were taking so long in there." Her coworker stated. She sat back at her desk and typed the password back onto her laptop, while (Y/N) sat back on her chair too and typed in her password as well.

"He's just a friend, nothing more than that."

"Is that so? Not your boyfriend? Because anyone could had mistaken it as your boyfriend."

For once, a comment like that really made my face heat up with such an assumption. I should really stop crushing on guys I could never attain. (Y/N) pondered.
