Time: Yeong-gi x reader

Chapter Fifteen

(Y/N) continued to stare back at Kousuke. She was startled to see him out of all people- did his mother plan this? So many thoughts ran through her mind, but in an instant she was pulled off from her chair abruptly. She blinked and that's when Kousuke began to lead her away from the table. Ms. Hirahara watched the both of them leave, as she folded her arms and her blue eyes never left (Y/N).

"Wait Kousuke, what are you doing? I was having an interview with your mother for my work." (Y/N) frowned. She was fairly upset with how he suddenly came and dragged her away, as if she was some sort of child. The both of them were around the same age, and he always gave her the cold shoulder. Why out of nowhere would he pull her away like that? She felt her blood boil and she pulled her arm away from Kousuke. That's when he stopped his tracks and turned to (Y/N), before he glanced away from her.

"You should stay away, didn't I say that before?" Kousuke asked. "You have no business getting involved with my family, and frankly I would advise you to continue your work elsewhere."

"Who are you to tell me who I can and can't talk to?" (Y/N) frowned. "My work requires me to meet all sorts of people and I finally have the connections. But with Yeong-gi, he's my friend and I don't think I would be leaving him anytime soon."

Kousuke quietly listened to the woman, as he pondered for a moment. She did have a point, but at the same time he could tell how naive she could be to suddenly waltz into their life. She was an outsider, and his family could be fairly complicated at times. For an outsider to come, of course there would be something she was unaware of before and he knew his mother well. She always had something up her sleeve and with the case of (Y/N), he was unsure what it was. He then shifted his attention back to her.

"My mother can be out there at times, and I don't see why she would want to be involved with you. Again, I advise you to stay away." Kousuke took a step ahead of them, before he stopped again. "Regarding work, do you find it strange... your friendship with Yeong-gi?"

"Strange? I don't think it is strange at all, he seems to be very understanding and he always knows how to make me smile." (Y/N) couldn't help, but smile.

Indeed. Yeong-gi has made her smile much more, since she fell into a hole after her fiancé had cheated on her. She was wary of him at first, but with time and patience- she grew to love the atmosphere around him. He was goofy, open, listened, and he always knew the right things to say. Yet at the same time, she felt guilty as she did find herself to grow warm whenever he was around. He did come into her lonely planet, and she couldn't help herself. Even if she were to reach out to him- he would always be out of reach from her.

"You sound almost as though you are in love with him." Kousuke glanced back at her.

"Now you're just making assumptions, Kousuke."

(Y/N) made her way to the train station, as she felt a bitter feeling within her. She was upset with how Kousuke continued to pry on her about Yeong-gi and kept coming back into her life. He was not the type of person she really wanted to be around. Still, she did wonder about the intention his mother had with her. She was simply a writer for a small magazine company, and why out of all people would she talk to herself? At the same time, the words 'You sound almost as though you are in love with him' continued to play in her mind. She did want to love again.

Sometime a few months back....

(Y/N), Eui, and Seul sat under a cherry blossom tree. It was spring, and the three women were having a picnic. Eui looked back at (Y/N) with a short smile, she had found out that her fiancé had fell out of love with her and was feeling down. Seul watched her as well, before she held a sandwich out to her. The two friends always tried their best to support her, and they always listened to what she had to say.

"Eui, and Seul? Do you think sometime, I will meet someone who will love me? I'm beginning to have doubts in myself again after I found him with another woman..." (Y/N) spoke quietly.

"I know you will meet someone." Seul smiled.

"Someone that will love the way you are." Eui added. As she drank some of her peach tea.

(Y/N) smiled. "Someone who loves me... I can't wait to meet them."
