Ezra sighed as he dragged Logan to the auditorium. "Look, you can't be skipping school. Today will only be about getting to know the other races. And then you will have the weekend to chill and go to town."

"I hate this," Logan glared. "Even now that I felt that."

"You felt it too?" Ezra let go of him. "Thought, I am not sure who it was that I was feeling this attraction. There were a lot of girls there. And none were my age."

"Daisy was," Logan said.

"She's already has a soulmate," Ezra said.

"It will suck if yours is a kid," Logan said. "Is that even possible?"

"This whole soulmate thing is, really, complicated," Ezra said. "Look, let's not talk about this, and hurry up." Logan just mumbled and walked past him.

Ezra doesn't know what to do with him. Logan is out of control, always doing what he wants. And Ezra doesn't know how Logan will act while he's not around.

Logan is unpredictable; he could do things without anyone knowing.

Since a toddler, Logan has been rebellious. And Ezra can't blame him; they did grow up without parents. Their parents died a long time ago. They were ordinary humans who had two werewolves children, but they loved them. And then, everything went to hell when a man entered there house to rob them.

And their parents were awake; it was just bad timing. The man shot them both on the spot. And Logan saw everything he was just a toddler at the time, only two years old. But that was enough to traumatize him. And now his like this. And the killer got away. Til this day, there hasn't been any clue of his whereabouts. And the case just went cold, but their leader, Jace, assured them, he will find the man. Now, Jace is a werewolf-like them. And he saw them wandering the streets.

Jace has tried helping Logan with his behavior, but it was useless. Until their parents dead are avenge, Logan won't behave.

"Ouch, hey watch where you're going, you just stepped on my foot," Ezra shook his head and looked down at the girl. "Aren't you going to apologize? Rude ass teacher you are, let's go, Alice." He was so distracted that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. And Logan just stood there grinning.

Ezra gulped as he smelled it; that scent was coming from her. No, not from her, from the other one. Or was it from her? He can't tell there fragrances are identical, of course, twins. There must be two of them. Great, how will he know who's his soulmate? He must talk to them both, but they are young. Life is so strange.

-

Logan glared at the two girls past by; one of them is his soulmate. And he will find her and reject her at all costs. He will not have a soulmate; he doesn't want to get involved with anyone.

He followed the rest of his classmates into the auditorium and sat in the back seats. He could easily sneak out if it weren't for security blocking the entrance.

Logan looked around; it was packed. He could smell all the races mixed in. But there was one aroma that stood out the most. And he hated the smell of coconut. It was bad enough that many girls wear the same lotion, coconut, back at home. Yuck.

"Don't even think about sneaking out," Ezra whispered as he made his way down the aisle toward the stage.

As if he could, there's no point in running; There is nowhere to go; they were in the middle of the ocean, on an island, located who knows where with a barrier to keep unauthorized humans away.

He leaned back and stared at the ceiling. It's so dull he could fall asleep. But that won't happen because Ezra was glaring at him from across the stage.
