Alice frowned.
"Hurry up," Alana said. "Take both of them."
"Yeah, Alice," Lilac chuckled. "Take both ice creams; you are so, picky, aren't you?"
"Oh, you should see her at home," Alana said.
"It's just ice cream," Lilac crossed her arms. "So, what if they are touching?"
"I hate it," Alice said. "I like them in one flavor, I mean they can have chunks of cookie dough or chocolate chip. But it has to me with one flavor."
"She is weird," Lilac said. "Take them both, and let's go. I want to check out the rest of the place. Good thing, we don't have to carry out items; thank you, teachers, for bringing carriages. Now, come along."
Alice sighed and set both ice cream buckets in the cart. She smiled as they walked around the store. She finally got the courage to tell Logan about the whole soulmate thing. And he seems to take it well. At least she hopes he did.
She did reject him in a way but not entirely. She wants to be able to get to know him better. And they have four years for that.
She smiled. After they finished shopping for groceries and utilities, they walked around town and found many stores that they would find at home.
"Wow," Lilac walked into a store filled with things that only she would like, Hottopic. "Yes!"
It's the happiest Alice has ever seen her. And it frightens her a bit. "There's Spencers too," Alana said. "I am going to check it out."
"Well, I am going to the bookstore, and maybe to the comic book store," Alice said. "Have fun, you two, Cat?"
"I am going with you," Cat said, "I want to buy some manga."
Alice nod and they went to the bookstore. While she was in the books section, Cat went to the manga aisle.
She went through some books. It's good to have a bookstore nearby; books are the only way she can escape reality.
"Hello," Alice looked at her side.
"Hi," she smiled at Ezra. "Are you shopping too?"
"Yeah," he said. "Looking for some books to read on my day off, or when I am not teaching and babysitting." She giggled.
"Babysitting?" She smiled. "It's difficult, isn't it?"
"Yes," he sighed. "My students aren't like the rest; they tend to lose control and have bad, tempers."
"Your brother doesn't seem to be bad," she said. "He may have a bad temper, but I can tell he has a good heart."
"Yup," he smiled.
Alice set the book in the basket. "What are you teaching?" She asked, maybe she can take his class, whatever it hos teaching.
"I am going to teach them self-control," Ezra said and followed her around. "Werewolf, they have it easy; it's the Lycan's that need help. Jace wants to help them control their shifting."
"But, Lycan's," Alice frowned. "From what I heard, they tend to change whenever and at any place."
"Yes," Ezra nods. "Jace thinks we can evolve them so that the next generation will have more self-control so that they can be shift whenever they want. As for the werewolf, it's the same thing; they tend to change only during a full moon."
"Jace can change whenever he wants," Alice said.
"Because he has a wolf," Ezra said. "It's like, he has two bodies, he does have two. Two souls, his and the wolf. But we don't have two souls."
