Chapter 6- Brothers

"Sonic where are you going?" Amy asked. "It's Silvers birthday. I'm going with Shadow to spend the day at Silver's grave." Sonic said faintly. "Oh. Okay, just come back when you fell like it okay? Spend all the time there you want." Amy said smiling. "Well, I better get to work." She said. She kissed him, the went out the door. Sonic was always gloomy on this day. Even though he was happy to go to Silver's grave.

Shadow arrived at Sonic's house. "You ready..?" Shadow even said with a gloomy voice. "Yeah. Hop in the car, and we'll go." Sonic replied. So they started the car, and drove to their old house. Where Knuckles and Rouge still lived together. They got there, and Knuckles and Rouge were already outside. They saw Sonic pull in to the drive way. "Morning guys." Knuckles said.

They both saw Shadow and Sonic were uneasy. Rouge looked at then both with guilt. "You two okay..?" She asked. "Fine." Shadow replied. "Yeah, we're all good." Sonic said trying to smile. Even knuckles was feeling gloomy, seeing the two so upset like that.

"Thank you so much! You won't regret this decision!" Amy yelled to the couple leaving the house. "Goodbye thank you!" They yelled back. Amy still had Sonic and her mind. She felt horrible seeing Sonic so sad. She knew he was really close to Silver. "I wonder how Sonic is doing.." She thought to herself.

"Heya Amy." Cream said pulling up to the house Amy just sold. "Oh, hey Cream! Whatcha up to sweetheart?" "Just, have a day off work. Saw you while I was driving, and here I am." She said politely. "You want to hang out today?" Cream said excited. "Yeah, sounds like fun!" Amy said with joy. "Wait, if you and Sonic are busy it's fine." Cream said. "No no let's do it! Sonic and Shadow went to the old mansion to spend a day with Silver. Today is his birthday." Amy said starting feeling bad again.

"Awwe. Poor guys." Cream said sadly. "Well, they deserve it." Amy said. Cream changed the subject to cheer her up. "All right I'll hop In your car and we'll get going." Cream said happily again. "All right, let me get my things and we'll go." Amy said walking back into the house.

She walked back out with her bag, and hopped in the car. "So where you want to go first Cream?"
"How about the coffee shop?" "All right sounds good!" So she turned the car on, and drove off.

Sonic and everyone else cracked open a drink, and started talking. "Haha yeah. And when Silver, accidentally walked in on Rouge dressing!" Sonic said laughing hard. "Yeah... I kicked him in the balls for that!" Rouge said irritated. "Hahaha that was hilarious!" Knuckles said. "I cracked up over that! I was shedding tears I laughed so hard!" Sonic said again. "Hah, yeah. Crazy dork." Shadow even said kind of laughing.

Everyone held their drink up. "To Silver." Sonic said. "To Silver." Everyone else repeated. They poured the rest of their drinks on his grave. "Well, this was fun. I'm glad we all came." Knuckles said happily with Rouge on his arm. "Yeah. This was nice." Shadow even said happily. "Thanks for letting us over guys. Means a lot." Sonic said to Knuckles and Rouge. "No problem. You deserve it." Rouge said happily. "Well, we better get going. See ya later." Sonic said back to them. "Wait! Sonic we have all day! Why leave now?"Knuckles actually said happily.

"Well.." Sonic looks at his phone and sees a text from Amy. It said she was spending the day with Cream. "I guess so. Let's chill!" Sonic said looking back up. "What are we going to all day?" Rouge asked. "Let's go into town and had around." "Yeah, let's go grab Tails too. Amy and Cream are spending the day together." Sonic replied. "All righty. Let's go." Knuckles said hopping in Sonic's car.

Everyone else piled in. He started the car, and they took off.

"Cream, what are you drinking?" Amy said curiously. "Chocolate Frappe. You should try one!" She replied. "All right, one frappe please." She said to the man working the counter. "Will that be it today?" He asked. "That's it. Thank you!" Cream said. "You betcha!" He said back smiling. They walked over to a table and sat down. "So Amy, what have you and Sonic been up to lately?" "Well, we're trying to save up for a vacation. It'd be really nice to have kind of another honeymoon together." She said. "Oh nice! Tails and I are hoping to go to Hawaii this month." She said happily.

"That's good!" Amy said back. "*gasp* y'all should come with us! For your trip!" "Ehh I don't know." "Please Amy... I know you can talk Sonic into a vacation." She said pleading. "Ehh, okay." "Yay! Amy i love you so much!" She said coming around and hugging her. "Lemme text Sonic." She looked at her phone, and saw a message from him. "Amy, we are gonna go grab Tails and hang out for a little bit. Going to Applebee's. See ya later! Xoxo."

"Well, I'll ask when we got home. He went and grabbed Tails to hang out with them. They're going to Applebee's." "Oooo. Should we meet them there?" "No, this is their day. If it wouldn't, then yeah we would." Amy said disappointed. "Well, thank you for the coffee Amy." "Oh no problem!We better get going. Do you want to come over for a little bit? I'm sure the guys will be there with Rouge." "Okay! Let's get going." Slithery said as they left a tip, and walked out.

They got home before the boys. About thirty minutes before they did. They looked out the dark, night window and saw them pull in. Amy felt concerned because she saw Sonic walking weird. When they got into the house, she glared at Sonic. Knowing, what's going on. "Heya Ames." He said with a weird voice. Everyone else walked in and saw Cream and Amy. "Hey guys!" Knuckles said smiling.

"Oh my god! Sonic are you drunk?!" Amy yelled. "No no, I'm... I'm okay." He said walking into the living room. That's when he fell down on the ground and fell asleep. "Hey Cream, let's get going. These guys are gone!" Tails said laughing hard. "All right. Bye Amy. When Sonic wakes up, tell him I said hi! And don't kill him!" "I'll try not to. Bye sweet girl!" She left out the door.

She glared at Sonic asleep in the floor. She picked his head up by his back blue quills. When she saw his face, he was drooling and he was out cold. "Ughhhh. Idiots." She said as she looked around the room seeing everyone else drunk.
