"Sonic.. Where's Shadow..?" Rouge asked now beginning to cry. "He's not dead if that's what you're worrying." Sonic said trying to calm her down. "Then where is he!" She yelled. "He left, Rouge. His selfish ego isn't ready to be a team player." Sonic said upset. "Why..?" Rouge said crying. Knuckles held her. "He... He killed Swift." He said shocking everyone else.
"He..." Cream said with her hands over her mouth. "Yes Cream. He did it. And now he's back to that lifestyle." Sonic said angrily, and went upstairs carefully and slow. The whole room went silent. "Is anybody hungry?" Cream said trying to break the sadness. No one answered. "You know what guys, we're going to get going." Knuckles said helping Rouge up.
They left about a minute later. "Amy..?" Cream asked. "Yes sweet girl what is it?" She asked, but still looking at the bills on the table. "Do you mind if uh... We stay the night..?" Cream asked. "Yes that'd be nice. Sonic and I need a little happiness going around. "Tails is already almost asleep on the couch." She said.
Amy looked at the fox, and smiled. "Just remember, you are always welcome here sweet girl." She said happily. "Thank ya Amy!" She said hugging her neck. "Boy that girl loves hugs.." She thought to herself. Then, she saw Cream run upstairs with a tray of food.
"Such a sweet girl.." She also thought to herself.
"Sonic, I brought you food." Cream said with her adorable smile. "Thanks Cream. Are you two staying the night?" He asked happily. "Yup! Me and Tails are taking the guest bedroom." "All right then." He said sith his standard smile.
Cream ran back downstairs to watch TV in the living room. Sonic looked at himself curiously. He was curious what would happen if he tried to get up. So, he sat his tray on the table beside him. He moved his legs first, then tried to stand up. He could stand just fine, but he tried to walk.
"C'mon Sonic. C'mon!" He began yelling at himself. He put one foot out, and still kept his balance. He did the same thing over and over, and found himself walking. He was standing at the bottom part of the stairs. "Hey Ames." He said happily. "Hey Sonic... SONIC!" She finally figured out.
"Yeah Ames. I can walk!" He said with enthusiasm. He quick walked over to her chair and picked her up. "Wah." Amy said as he picked her up split second. "Ooh Sonic, I've never seen you this thrilled since you asked me to marry you. She smiled at him brightly.
"You are just a sweetheart aren't yo-" he kissed her and she stopped talking. "C'mon Ames, quit the boring stuff for the night. Let's go have some fun!" He said to her.
"Dang Sonic. You little dog you." Cream said smiling. "Why don't we all go to Applebee's or Chili's or something?" Amy asked. "Sounds great Ames. Lemme go throw the food tray in the fridge." He went upstairs to grab the tray. He ran down and out it in the fridge.
"Tails... Hun wake up." Tails heard a soft voice. He already know it was Cream's. "Yeah.. Yeah whatcha need babe." He said happy to hear her voice. "Get up. We're going to Eat out." Cream said. "Okay.. Sonic don't get drunk this time please." Cream said laughing.
"Hey, it was guys night out!" He defended. "Anyway, let's get going." Sonic said as he still carried Amy to the car.
