Chapter 11- Tracked

"Amy, we can't keep him here. We need to get him to my house. I have a ton of new tech that will make his recovery assuring." Tails said. "I don't care! We can't move him because what if we hit something? Or what if those guys tracked us?!" Amy freaked out. "Amy, it will all be okay." Cream said gently. She looked at Cream.

"Amy, it's fine. I'll be okay, don't worry about me. I can handle what ever happens." He said as he grabbed her hand. She looked into his eyes, and stubbornly agreed. "Knuckles, bring the gurney down!" Tails yelled to the cockpit of the jet. He pressed a button, and lowered a small strapped bed. Shadow and Tails helped Sonic into bed, and Knuckles pulled him up.

The jet had a retractable ladder come out, and everyone climbed on board. The jet was bigger than it was five years ago. It could hold more passengers and more equipment. There was no bed for Sonic, so the seats along the walls were what he laid down on. He rested his head on Amy's lap. He opened his eyes and looked up, he saw Amy asleep.

Even though he was badly injured, he still wanted to be a gentleman to his girl. So, he sat up as much as he could, and laid Amy's head on his shoulder, and put his arm around her. Cream saw Tails eyes getting heavy. "Hun, let me fly for a while. You've been up for a while and you need some rest." She said into his ear. "But I-" "I don't care. You let me drive you've done your part. Please let me drive.." She whispered into his ear and kissed his cheek.

"...okay.." He said love struck. He unhooked his seatbelt and switched to the shotgun seat. Cream hopped into the pilot seat and got comfortable. Five minutes later, she looked over and Tails was already asleep. She laughed because she forgot there was a button thst read "auto pilot" on it. She pressed it, kissed Tails on the forehead and pulled a lever than pulled the driver seat and the shotgun seat closer. It also reclined both for a bed type seat.

Later That Night
Tails woke up and saw Cream was asleep by him. But, he was nervous of what he saw. Cream was asleep facing him. And he saw her shirt kept sliding down her chest. It made Tails blushed seeing that. He remembered what happened a couple days ago. He was happy she wasn't awake. He tried shaking it off, and fall asleep. "Wow man." He heard as he looked over at Knuckles. "What?" He asked knowing Knuckles saw it all.

"I saw that Tails." He said winking to him. "You really need some help with this, I can tell bud." He said. "With what?" Tails asked still embarrassed. "Look Tails. You need to be a straight shooter! I mean, look at Sonic and I. We go straight for stuff. And I've noticed she always kisses you first." Knuckles said ashamed. "You need to just relax, and go straight for it. You get nervous. I've noticed." He continued.

"Okay... So what do I do..?" He asked. "It's simple. Just don't think, and go straight for it! It's that easy!" He said to him softly. "Okay, I'll try it next time." Tails said feeling confident. Knuckles walked back to Rouge, who was asleep. And he put his arm back around her and tried to go to sleep. "Pff, teenager." He heard Shadow saw in the corner seat. "Hey, you were like this too." He said to Shadow.

"I was created kid. I never went through this stuff." He said smirking. "Well... So I know you've had your first to! I'm sure we all have." He said faintly. "Oh yeah. I did. But she's gone now." He said with his natural look again. "So, you need to protect your special one with everything you have. You never know when you might loose her..." He said faintly, closing his eyes.

"I will. It's my job." He said smiling at Shadow. Shadow smirked back, and closed his eyes to fall asleep. Tails did the same, but happily this time.

"Any of you feel that?" Tails woke up looking around the jet. Everyone was waking up holding their head. Knuckles woke up on the floor. "Yeah. This is some nasty turbulence." Amy said. Tails looked at the radar. "This isn't turbulence!" Cream yelled. That's when the jet started shaking real bad.

Everyone rolled off the seats and into the floor. Knuckles slid and hit his head, knocking him out cold. "Everyone fasten your seatbelts! Rouge grab Knuckles!" Sonic yelled. She picked him off the floor and strapped him in too.

Tails picked Cream up by the waist (without thinking) and sat her back in the passenger seat. She was shocked he did something so sweet without being nervous. She strapped in. "Hang on tight everyone!" Tails yelled as he flipped the plane out of reach.

"What's following us?!" Rouge yelled. "Take a wild guess." Shadow said sarcastically. They look through the back window, and saw Metal Sonic, flying after them.
