Chapter 9- Trouble in Paradise

The team got up and ran. It hovered and continued to shoot at them. "Go ahead and run. It gives me a thrill!" It said flying towards them. It caught up to them and grabbed Sonic, and threw him into a glass window. Where he landed on a table in the same restaurant. Back was covered in glass and blood. He slowly got up, and jumped back out the window.

"Hey! Bolt for Brains!" Sonic yelled to it. It turned back around with it's menacing stare. He ripped the reaming parts of his college jersey off. The robot lunged at him. Sonic tried to jump out of the way, but the robot socked him in the cheek.knocking Sonic to the ground. He struggled to get up, but the robot just kept going crazy on him. "Sonic! I'm coming!" Tails ran over to the robot, and jumped on him. "Get off Sonic you piece of-" He spun his arm all the way around and grabbed Tails.

Sonic got back up and did his homing attack in the robot. It didn't do anything. When the robot threw Tails way up high in the air, Sonic ran past the robot and chased after Tails. "I gotcha buddy!" Sonic yelled chasing Tails flying body. He was going to catch Tails, but the robot tackled Sonic into the sand. It turned it's hand, into a drill and slowly brought it into Sonic's face. "Weak. I thought you be a challenge." The robot said. Sonic saw Amy running up be hind the robot. She had her hammer running at him.

She hit it good and hard into the side. Knocking it twenty feet off Sonic. "Sonic! Are you all right?!" She said freaking out. He tried to get up, but it was too hard. He finally got up, and spit blood everywhere. The robot got back on it's feet, and flew after Cream and Tails. "No running aloud on the beach." The robot said cracking a cheesy joke. It was about to tackle Cream, but Sonic grabbed Amy's hammer and threw it point blank at the robot. It flew and hit a falling palm tree.

"C'mon Sonic! Get up we have to go!" She kept yelling towards Sonic. He got back up, feeling a little bit better. But he felt a sharp object get thrown into his back. "Aaaahhhh!" He screamed on pain. Amy looked at his back, and saw a throwing in his back. "Tails! Cream! Sonic's been hit!" She started crying. She turned around and saw the robot pinned down by the tree. So it couldn't have been him. But, that's when she saw a dark figure behind Sonic.

"Miss me?" He said creepily. "Who are you!" Amy yelled in fear. He stepped out of the shadow, and she saw who it was. It was Swift, the hedgehog. "You! But how?!" She kept yelling. She saw the big claw slash threw his left eye. "The beast didn't kill me, it just made me partially blind." He said smirking as he pulled out a pistol from his left holster.

"Sorry, Hun." She whispered into Sonic's ear. She pulled the knife out real quick and threw it at him. Sonic screamed loud in pain.
The knife hit Swift in the shoulder. "Aah!" He yelled. They heard a loud jet like noise. They looked up, and saw the old X-Tornado.

"Hop in!" Knuckles voice said on the speaker. It pulled a gun out, and fired at Metal Sonic. The robots armored steel, reflected the bullets off of him. But still pushing him back. The ship lowered down, so they could get on.

"Knuckles! Get Sonic first! He's injured!" She yelled. Knuckles looked over, and saw him lying on the ground. "I'll grab em!" Shadow yelled as he rushed over to him. He grabbed him, and rushed him into the X-Tornado. Amy Tails and Cream jumped in too.

The plane took off, to the mansion first before anywhere else. That's where Tails old medical lab was. He was already treating Sonic in the jet."he's loosing a lot of blood! And fast!" He screamed in fear. He flipped Sonic over, and saw his knife wound. "Oh my god! This is where all the blood is coming from." He said freaking out.

"Hurry and do something!" Amy said with tears. "I don't have anything in this jet! Knuckles, hurry!" He shouted. "What do you think I'm doing! We are still threw hours away! We can't make it in time!" He yelled back. Everybody looked at each other in desperation. "Our only option, is going underground Into to hiding." Shadow said uneasy.

Knuckles turned the plane, over the roof of Sonic's hotel. A laser popped out of the Bottom of the jet, and cut a quick hole into the roof. "Everybody! Pile into the hotel! This is the only choice right now." Knuckles yelled while directing.

They had the top floor, so they had to find their double room, and fast. They all rushed into Sonic's room, and laid his bloody body on his bed. They had him rolled on his side. Amy was gripping onto Sonic's hand tightly. "Shadow, put pressure on his wound!" He yelled. Shadow pressed onto his back hard. "Aghhhh!" He yelled in pain.

This was the worst Amy has ever seen Sonic. She could never stand to see him in pain, but this was the worst. She was still crying over his chest. Cream put her hand on Amy's shoulder. "Amy, I know this kills you. Maybe you should step out of the room for a minute." She said calmly. "No! I can't leave him!" She said yelling. Rouge nodded at Cream.

Rouge walked over by Cream, and they both grabbed Amy's arms. "No! No I can't leave him! Stop please!" Amy screamed. This just broke the girl's hearts. Especially because they were the ones pulling her.
