Chapter 12- Hard Landing

He began shooting bullets lasers, and cables at the jet to hook it. "He's shooting at us! Tails do something!" Sonic yelled keeping Amy down from fire. "I'm trying! The targeting systems are shot! We can't do anything!" He yelled back. That's when the back end of the jet had a hole blown in the ceiling. Metal Sonic jumped through and looked around at the crew.

"Rraaauugghhh!" Knuckles yelled as he ran at him. He got into the robots neck, and tried bringing it to the ground. "Pathetic. It said as it grabbed him by the throat. It turned and looked at Sonic. "So, you survived after all. But still weak." It said happily. Sonic tried getting up. "Sonic don't! It's a trap!" Amy yelled grabbing him. "I know." He said simply. "Put him down. I know you want me, so just take me." Sonic said getting face to face with it.

"That's more like it." It said. It threw Knuckles into the wall. And started to reach up and grab Sonic. "Tails now!" He yelled. Tails turned the jet upside down multiple times to get it off balance. Metal Sonic shook around in the jet. There was a button that said "split" on it. It was for splitting the jet in half if it needed to. "I'm sorry Tails." Sonic whispered with tears in his eyes. He threw Amy with the rest of the hang in the cockpit, and smashed on the button.

In the back part was Sonic and his robot double. The ship split in half, and the bottom part fell to the ground. The cockpit grew an artificial back, to balance it. "No! Sonic! No please! Tails take us down there!" Amy was screaming with tears. "I am!" He yelled back.

*BBOOOOOMMMMM!*

"What the.." Sonic looked up and saw palm trees. It was still dark. He remembered what happened, and looked around for the robot. Then he saw the robot fly from the sky, and land right beside him. He stared at him for a minute, then looked at his wrist. "I got him." He said into his wrist. "Excellent. Bring him back to HQ." he heard someone say. Metal Sonic looked back at him, and grabbed him. "Well, it looks like they're going to finish you off." He said kind of upset. "Let's go." He grabbed Sonic by the throat.

"T-they're going to find me!" Sonic could barely say. "I wouldn't be to sure about that." He said. He was flying away with Sonic. He looked at the ground, and back and Sonic. "Screw my orders." He said. He let go of Sonic and dropped him far down. "Aaaahhhhhhh!" He heard fading away. "Good riddance." He said laughing.

"Tails! Get us down there! There's the crashed jet!" Shadow yelled. "On it." Tails pulled down into the island. They landed about a mile away from the crash site. "Okay everyone, scatter around and look for Sonic! He has to be here somewhere!" Knuckles yelled. They all scattered around, and searched for hours.

"Amy... I'd hate to say this.. But what if Sonic really isn't here?" Cream said feeling uneasy. "He has to be! I can't let him go! Not like this!" She yelled to her.

Sonic opened his eyes, and saw he was hanging upside down from a palm tree, by his shoe athletic tape. He saw a pink blur and a yellowish orange blur. He noticed it was Amy as Cream. "Hey!! You guys I'm over here!" He yelled loudly. The two turned around, and saw him hanging down, dripping blood. "Guys! I found Sonic!" Amy yelled with tears of joy. They both gasped when they noticed how much blood he lost. "Oh my god. Sonic! Are you okay!" She yelled scared.

"Yeah! I-I'm fine!" He said. "Try and cut me down!" "With what! It's just me and Amy!" Cream yelled annoyed. "Sonic we're coming!" He heard Tails' voice yell. A minute later, he saw Tails run up with an axe. "Umm Tails... I'd prefer you cut ME down instead of the tree!" He said worriedly. "Sorry Sonic. It's the only way down!" Sonic started freaking out.

So Tails started chopping at the tree. "Tails! Please rethink this!" He kept yelling to Tails. The tree started tilting. And that's when Sonic really kept squirming. Then the tree starting coming down. "Tails what's wrong with you!" Amy yelled at him I'm his face. He looked kind of scared.

It almost hit the ground, but a black blur buzzed by and caught it. It was Shadow. "Oh thank god!" Sonic said in relief. "Sit it down easy!" Amy said with worry. He sat the tree down, with Sonic on the top side. Sonic tried getting up, but he was still in pain from the attacks. "Amy, cut me out of here!" She rushed over and tore off the part of the tape that was caught. She picked his head up, and looked directly at his bloodshot and bruised eyes.

She picked him up higher, and kissed him. "You... Are such an idiot Sonic the Hedgehog." She said laughing through her tears.

"You WHAT?!"

"I dropped him back on the island. There isn't a chance in hell he'd survive that."

"I don't care! You didn't follow a damn order I requested! I outa shut you down!"

"You and I both know... You wouldn't do that."

"And what the hell is stopping me!"

"I can track him. I can find him, and I can kill him. How long have you been after him? Five years? I've been functional for five DAYS and I killed him."

"You little bastard! You wouldn't have found him if we wouldn't have built you!"

"Exactly Swift. This was all your doing. See you technically killed Sonic as you wished to."

"I don't care! Next time you don't do what I say, I. Will. End you!"

"Next time? There isn't a next time." Metal Sonic said, as he popped up and pulled all his weapons out. "Breeze get down!" Swift yelled. He tackled him, and slid behind a flipped over table.

"From now on, you're no higher up then the blue hedgehog. You're a target as well!" It yelled as it flew threw the roof.
